Well I am actively looking to move, and hoping to find a room that is at least 14x12.

At the volume required to match the rest of the system.

Well I run YPAO. So it sets each speakers level. So I guess if it raises the level a lot I should turn the knob up and if it lowers the level I should turn it down?

Then after watching that, put "Transformers On Water" in your Blu-ray player.

Gave my dual PSA XS15se's a good workout.

Yes. You want the AVR level itself as close to 0 as possible.

Just looking for some quick input,,, wanting to pick up a new sub, atm i have a "KLH e10".
I have been planning on grabbing a F12,, but now coming across info on the PL200..
Would it be beneficial forking out the extra cash and going for the PL ,, or would it be just as decent to stay with my original choice?

I have had my pl-200 for two days now. And I say buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Just don't pay a dime over $280.

Just received my BIC F12 from Parts-Express today. Was super excited to hook it up and test it out. Unfortunately, I think it is broken. It powers on, but I am not able to get any sound out of it at all. I have it hooked up to the sub out on my Yamaha receiver, have tried multiple cables, made sure the sub was enabled and set all of my other speakers to small. Crossover is set super high on the receiver and the sub, the switch is set to the LFE/Digital side. I have also tried hooking up my iPhone directly to it to see if it was the receiver. Still nothing. One thing I noticed was that in the Auto position, the light is always green as if it is detecting a signal, even with nothing plugged in to the input. Any suggestions to try before I start an exchange with Parts-Express?

Default Newb to BIC

Hello all, found this forum w/ some googling. Am a newbie to BIC and figured I would post here. Lots of good info on posts and research I've seen.

If I am the wrong place, my apologies.

I am going to be receiving a brand new BIC Eviction Series RTR-EV1200 sub w/a DV 52 center channel. I have been contemplating doing some changes in my small HTR, painting, speakers, etc prob 10x12, man cave really and was wondering if anyone here can give me some feedback on this equipment. I ran across BIC from my awards program through my employer, did some reading, etc and found really good rating info on pretty much all of it.

I currently have a small polk setup, rm6600's I think w/ a Velodyne CHT8, had this setup for years, no probs, just looking at something new. Don't really even know what I'm going to do yet, figured since I can get this equipment basically free I'd check it out. Not sure about bookshelfs, towers, surrounds yet, on a budget and just dreaming. I think I may have jumped the gun w/ the sub as it's looking like it's overkill, but IDK.

Any info is appreceiated.
