So the stars had a difficult working relationship...who the F cares?

It's the final product that counts and it was an excellent film, end of story.

Debra Winger and Richard Gere did not like each other and yet their chemistry onscreen is undeniable in An Officer and a Gentleman. She also had a hard time with the director and overall she has a reputation for being difficult and yet she's done a lot of great work.

Eh, context matters. Theron was not saying it endearingly.

Given how volatile their on-set relationship was she could've called him any number of things at that moment and he'd still have gone bananas. Those two at loggerheads is all the context that's required, it's not what was said but who said it.

Tom Hardy seems like a head case. He is rumored to have knocked out the director of The Revenant while they were filming that movie.

How does this man still have a career if he's so volatile?

He loves animals. He can hurt as many humans as he wants, as far as I'm concerned.

His movies make money. You can get away with murder in Hollywood if you can make people lots of money.

How long did Hollywood put up with Steven Seagal's weird bullshit? Until his movies stopped making money.

‘Mad Max’ Director Says ‘There’s No Excuse’ for Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron’s ‘Fury Road’ Set Feud: Tom ‘Had to Be Coaxed Out of His Trailer’

https://variety.com/2024/film/news/m...ed-1236000549/

Quote:
“Tom has a damage to him but also a brilliance that comes with it, and whatever was going on with him at the time, he had to be coaxed out of his trailer,” Miller said, more or less confirming reports that Hardy’s tardiness drew a wedge between him and his co-star. “Whereas Charlize was incredibly disciplined – a dancer by training, which told in the precision of her performance – and always the first one on set.”

Sorry George I don’t agree, that sounds like good reason to never work with Hardy and I wouldn’t miss him. Not really a fan.

Hardy has apologized for his part in it. It happened 12 years ago (shot in 2012). It's okay for Miller to accept the apology and be interested in working with Hardy again.

Actors showing up late is really disrespectful and annoying fir everyone else. No wonder movies go over budget and over schedule with this kind of behaviour. You're being very well paid for doing a job which many would love to have, be professional at the very least.

I'm not a big Theron fan but it's good to hear she was at least always on time and professional.
