Default Mad Max

What joy would one have viewing this great film in BLU format. Warner Bros. release of Road Warrior aka Mad Max 2 on BLU was stunning transfer. Unfortunately, MGM still holds the rights to Mad Max. After being re-released on DVD special edition a few years back I'm sure it will find its way onto BLU format.

I hope my wish comes true. I first saw Mad Max on beta-max when I was 8 years old bought the special edition DVD two years ago and will continue to be a fan of this great post apocalyptic blacktop western

Mad Max is a neat film parts of it remind me of "a clockwork orange".

I always remember that opening chase when that dude starts yelling, "The Knight Rider!" then he starts crying as tho he knows he's at the end of the line.

and the music in the film works very well.
[Show spoiler]The sad part IMO is when Max sees what Knight Rider's gang does to his family.

Already have a thread here. I'm sure it will come within a year or so. I'm confused as to why they released the sequel first though.

MGM owns the rights to Mad Max
Warner owns the rights to Road Warrior & Beyond Thunderdome
