Thanks for the info. Will wait & hope you're able to release them in the future. Also is it possible to include the audio commentaries from the Japanese Geneon releases of each film among the extras?

Talked to them about extras and doesn't seem to be an issue.

It was kind of odd that Tartan ONLY bothered with extras (minus the commentary) for 2LDK & left Aragami a vanilla disc.

Hopefully all the extras from the Geneon releases can be included.

I wasn't previously familiar with Isao Yukisada's work (though I now see that he was Shunji Iwai's AD in the 90s), but I thought that GO was really terrific. Yōsuke Kubozuka (latterly, Kichijiro in Scorsese's Silence) really shows off his range as a spiritually homeless Zainichi who comes up against systemic racism and generational trauma, putting in a performace that's movingly tender with bursts of spirited, visceral anger.

It has certainly inspired me to seek out Yukisada's other films. Can anyone recommend any?

They are. Recently received the "In the Line of Duty" Boxset and "Electric Dragon 80.000 V" which came to around €107 incl. shipping and VAT 23% (ordered some months ago). I tend to buy items under €150 as if it's more, it might trigger additional custom charges, which Terracotta states in their Shipping FAQ that they do not pay for.

I'd love for both of these to get releases. I was surprised Arrow didn't release them when they had a deal with Kadokawa.

Ooh that's interesting, not least because Adam said he had one Kiyoshi Kurosawa film for October (and they've already passed The Guard from Underground) and was looking for another, and Kurosawa directed Door 3, so maybe we have a trilogy set on the way?

How long does it usually take for Terracotta to respond to emails? I'm trying to cancel my order of GO and Untold story since untold was delayed and I'm living in a different address to the one in the order by the time it's releasing. Sent them an email around 6 days ago now.

I notice Door (1988) and Mad Cats (2023) announced on the front page with trailers from Third Window's Youtube.

Their Youtube also has a trailer for River (2023) by Europe Kikaku and Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes director Junta Yamaguchi, which I'm particularly excited for since I love BTITM and Summer Time Machine Blues.

Have I heard of this film before? I'm not sure I have. The plot/synopsis doesn't sound like other Asian horror/thriller films I've heard and read about. First read about this Third Window Films release from the Blu-ray.com news article earlier, then the above BBFC website page.

Belated reply but Terracotta is a passion project/side gig—while there may bbe a delay, they also have the best service I’ve ever encountered.

I've been thinking about Takeshi Kitano's movies lately and realised I don't have Hana-Bi and that the bluray is out of stock everywhere. Damn shame. Please rectify!

It has been OOP for a while, all the TWF Kitano releases are now.
Not sure if it has an English friendly release anywhere else but IIRC it was originally delayed because the master Office Kitano supplied had quite a lot of gate weave (so the image wasn't stable from frame to frame) and Adam had it fixed for their release so it might well be the best version out there anyway.
People ask silly money for it on eBay sometimes but those don't tend to sell and generally it can be had for around £20 if you're patient.

Thanks for the info. Yep, looks like Ebay might be the way to go.
