The news comes as showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet had originally conceived the drama as a closed-ended limited series but changed course as they were halfway through making the first season. Sources say execs were very pleased with the show’s creative and felt the season came to a natural and fitting conclusion.

The series was never promoted enough to even get enough viewers for another season. I found out about the series a few episodes on Showtime Anytime.

When I read the article that was the first I've heard of it too. I might check out the show since I already subscribe to Amazon Prime.
