It's a shame this great show Has been axed, But Since Like 2016, its been the only show I watch on a regular Basis not counting a certian news network.

Zaslav is at least as bad as Netflix, treating the shows as merely product instead of as a creative, artistic narrative. He only sees "show not profitable, NOW" and doesn't consider "show will never be profitable if left unfinished". Really stupid penny pinching from a company that's still over $50 billion in debt.

Westworld’s ratings have dropped each season and many who enjoyed the show at the start have felt the narrative has gone too far in mystery and unresolved threads.

We can blame Zaslav all we want but HBO, before the merger & leadership change, should have had executives pulling the reigns more. Before the merger, Warner was just willing to throw money freely, there should have been budget cuts to align with the dropping ratings.

That's a real shame, and something that makes absolutely no sense. I guess the new company wants to start the network completely over from scratch even though Who's Line is exactly what they are going for (cheap and likely watched by 50+).

It'll be really weird, but after they air the final season they are filming in January, I guess it will be the end of an era and I will delete The CW app from my TVs. Unless they somehow shock everybody and renew Walker Independence, but at this point it would be a miracle if they are even cancelling Who's Line.

CW cancelled so much to focus on unscripted, and now cancelled unscripted. CW is going down the drain lol

...because he didn't develop Schitt's Creek at Pop, it was a Canadian show that was licensed to Pop for US broadcasting.

Other than that, it's not a surprising move. CW was basically a dumping ground for WB and Paramount shows, and now that that's over they'll go the route of normal networks. But cheaper.

What is not canceled on HBO Max or CW? At least DCU will be rebooted but I worry about HBO Max series. The only thing I watch on HBO Max series is GOT: House of the Dragons, Doom Patrol, Peacemaker, and Titans.

I hope the Spanish series 30 Coins second season does not get canceled or the series.

What I never got about DC is with all their alternate multiverse stuff, they still think fans are dumb enough to not obviously realize the movies with different actors aren't going to be connected and are different VERSIONS of the same character. Marvel finally started to kind of get that with What If, they can have stuff on the side that doesn't NEED to connect to the MCU... so DC should realize that as well, have DCEU it's own thing and all the stuff to the side is just a nice side adventure with characters you like doing different things played by different people.

I could see Doom Patrol being safer because they're fairly obscure, but I'd assume Titans might go if they want to use those characters.

According to this write up here the FOX drama named Monarch has been cancelled after one eleven episode season. I pray that the cancellation doesn't get to country singer Trace Adkins who was one of the lead characters. He has already been to alcohol rehab twice.
