They also cancelled The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself. I was going to check out both shows, but I've had so much stuff to catch up on before I started something new... and now I won't bother.

Netflix floods subscribers with so much that they feel overwhelmed and then when a show doesn't get so much attention and basically break records within the first week, they assume it's a dud and cancel it. With so much to choose from, a show needs more than a month to find an audience. This is why nobody trusts Netflix, and soon, WB is going to have a hard time having people trust them.

I would say Warrior Nun is worth watching. The 2 seasons are good and it has a satisfying ending with just a little tease of a possible season 3.

I was going to check out the Bastard Son but after it only got one season .. not worth it.

CNN Cancels ‘Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy’ as Part of Originals Pullback

The actor is still exec producing the spinoff 'Searching For Mexico,' and could be involved if the show is shopped elsewhere.

CNN has also canceled all of HLN’s (Headline News) original programming and live news broadcasts. It will simulcast CNN’s morning news programs and show true crime content from Investigation Discovery.

I do not get why they would remove Westworld series when it was HBO/HBO Max most successful series which got Emmy's like GoT. People who have not seen it I am sure would love to.

Zaslav is really a dick but would not be shocked soon Discovery+ takes over and kills HBO Max. Get ready from TLC (The Learning Channel) MILF Island will be streaming because it is educational.


Either way, wake me up when Zaslav does something good such as getting Tales from the Crypt series license to stream on HBO Max.

While I haven't watched Season 2 yet, I would second the endorsement to still watch it regardless. It took a couple episodes or so to really hit it's stride, but once it did I highly enjoyed it. I was really psyched when they finally announced a release date for Season 2 after having to wait so long, but figured there was no rush to watch it given how long I had already waited. I'm glad it gets a satisfying ending so that I can finish it, unlike another genre show like Dark Matter.

Netflix is one of the few places that have a good amount of genre shows that aren't just Star Wars or Star Trek, but then they pull stuff like this and cancel them after only a handful of seasons. Almost defeats the purpose, but at least in this case it got an ending.

I think there was an article a while back about the Netflix business model that said something along the lines of, outside of a few massive hits (ie. Stranger Things) most of their shows don't attract new subscribers after 2 seasons, so they don't see the point of renewing them.

Sad if true, as if doesn't exactly encourage brand loyalty, but I can kinda see their point of view from a business perspective.
