Default Steelbooks without special features are extremely annoying

Why do so many steelbooks come without any special features? This is very annoying. You'd think the people buying steelbooks would be the big fans of the movies and want the special collectors box with nice artwork and all the special features, maybe even more features than normal. So why do we often get steelbooks without any special features outside audio commentaries?

I really don't want to buy a movie twice, once for the box and once for the special features. Just give me a nice steelbook release with everything on it 3D/2D/All Special Features/Interior Artwork. Even if it costs more.

Because its much easier for the studios to release old stock(single disc/bare bones)in nice new steelbooks.

Honestly, they should just put that stuff online...some times these documentaries are really short and fluffy. I would like a documentary that covers the special effects in detail of a movie...not this quick montage of before and after lasting only a few mins. Some dvd's back in the day had great commentaries.

Actually I'm finding special features overrated. I don't watch 80% of them.

Blufans is a premium steelbook retailer from China. Kevin (blufansteel) is your best way to get these as he hosts Groupbuys here (in the trading section), otherwise you have to get them primarily off of other users or eBay at much higher costs.

You can become a Blufans VIP by having a certain amount of them (currently set at 25).

Has anybody here bought a Steel from the HiDefNonja shop directly? That's not a part of "Group Buys" right?

There aren't photos of the actual Steels so kinda wanna know anyone's experience.

Yeah the shop works fine. I've made several purchases from it. That's how we had to purchase the Tenebrae HDN Exclusive they sold.

Yes i've bought a couple of times.
It is a separate store from a group buy.

I've ordered 3x from them, each time a success.

If you ask for an OCD mint item, they'll help you out.
They're all collectors too.

Sweet! Good to know. What a find. Especially the Mondo X's. Thanks for your input, guys.

Default Ghostbusters steelbook, which version is in it?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ghostbus...?skuId=5345701

Anyone know which blu ray is inside these?

Is it whats inside these versions? If so I might pick it up for the movie cash to see the new one and justify getting them for the cool steelbooks since the reviews on these versions look pretty good.
