OK, confirmed this is a blu-ray only release. No DVD disc. Amazon has it listed incorrectly. Hopefully that'll be sorted out on their site soon.

OK, big announcement time!
from the Hollywood Reporter announcement... "Arbelos, a new boutique distributor focusing on the release of both new and restored classic art house titles, officially launched at this year's Toronto Film Festival. The company's first release will be a 4K restoration of Dennis Hopper's 1971 cult classic The Last Movie, which will get a new theatrical bow, and its first ever Blu-ray and digital streaming release, via Arbelos in 2018. ![]() Arbelos looks to blending both new independent features with 4K restorations of classic and cult films, cutting across all genres and eras, the group said. Arbelos plans to release 6-8 titles per year, around half new titles, and will be scouting films while in Toronto. The team behind Arbelos —co-founders David Marriott, Dennis Bartok, Craig Rogers and Ei Toshinari — previously collaborated together on Cineliscious Pics, the distribution arm of L.A. digital restoration studio Cinelicious and the new company's initial slate will include Cinelicious Pics film library of 14 feature films, including the recent 4K restoration of Toshio Matsumoto’s transgender classic Funeral Parade of Roses, Tim Sutton’s Dark Night and the 4K restoration of Eiichi Yamamoto’s underground Anime Belladonna of Sadness." |

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for this. Thank you so much!
First Belladonna of Sadness, now The Last Movie. If you guys put out Pastoral from Shuji Terayama I might pass out. Going to see Funeral Parade of Roses tonight as well. Can't wait. ![]() |

Oh goodness gracious, what fantastic news! I've been waiting years for this! I'd lost some hope when Etiquette managed to restore and release The American Dreamer without The Last Movie, but it's very good to see that it's in good hands. Hopefully yourselves or someone does something with Out of the Blue as well.
It's also great to see that you've put together a fantastic package for Funeral Parade of Roses - it's on the shopping list! |

Cinelicious still exists and could still restore and release films if they choose to do so. I do not know what their plans for the future are.
Arbelos has sublicensed the Cinelicious Pics library and will handle all future distribution of those titles and are aggressively moving forward with other future projects including the restoration and release of THE LAST MOVIE and other films. |
