this is hilarious coming from Ol' Shifty McGoalposts. Last summer when discussing certain films flopping at the box office, one of the "arguments" (for lack of a better term) you made, is that studios can forecast film profits 10-20 years in advance when factoring things like merchandise sales (pretty sure that won't apply here), streaming rights, tv rights (pretty much non-existent in modern world of streaming), etc.
I know your "arguments" change depending on the property and the "OMG I love this actress" *squeee* level you attach to them but you should try to keep things consistent on maybe a weekly basis at minimum or to each screenname you employ.

I initially gave the first Venom a pass because hey its Venom on the big screen but after subsequent viewings and the god awful sequel, these are just not good films. Sony always cheaps out on writers or in the case of Venom lets Hardy develop the story.
For all the talk Morbius received when released I was ready to bear witness to the worst film ever when I finally sat down to watch it on Netflix. Its certainly not a good film but it was just standard paint by number big studio comic book template flare from the early 00's, trying to shoehorn tie-ins to more successful franchises.

there was a story within the last week that she changed agents a week after the Madame Web trailer came out. Could be a coincidence but who knows

More than likely a coincidence that some people use to push the narrative that "sony tricks people into think it's the MCU" despite Joe Smhoe being able to find out otherwise with a simple Google search.

I just found out today she left her talent agency a week after the trailer for this released.

She's definitely distancing herself from this movie.

Tim Rothman really does believe that giving Garfield a proper Amazing Spider-man trilogy would dilute the brand or just confuse the audiences.
All the while he milks the Spider-man film rights of what he can with these 'anti-hero' movies no one asked for, and most likely aren't building up to anything.

Introducing Garfield at this point is the only way to save it.
The multi-verse concept is so strong in people's mind and they should strike while there is still some buzz. Just pretend he was in the same universe all along.
