Hey Al! I have the next four days off and have it all planned out:

Monday: Some last minute shopping in the afternoon, then party with some of my friends later on that night.

Tuesday: Sleep in, then eat food while watching some movies.

Wednesday: Do the family Christmas thing in the afternoon, then come home and drink a lot of beer.

Thursday: Repeat Tuesdays schedule.

Hope you get some time off for the holidays!

Tuesday: Go to Hastings to snatch up as many free rentals as I can then watch those rentals and visit with the family that will be in town
Wednesday: Watch more rentals and do the X-Mas thing, maybe go to the theatre as well
Thursday: Work and returning the Hastings rentals before they're due
Friday: Not sure
Saturday: Final shift at current job

Been working a lot lately and just started getting into watching Breaking Bad on blu-ray. I blind-bought season 1 used for $8.95 and loved it, so I bought season 2 & 3 and I'll probably finish off season 2 tonight. I freakin' love this show. Have you seen it?

Just been working a whole lot here lately. In the last two weeks I only had one day off. Also, like I mentioned in your thread, I just got into Breaking Bad recently and watched the entire series (62 episodes @ around 47 minutes per episode) in less than two weeks.

A local store had season 1 on blu-ray used for $8.95, so I figured I would give it a try. I ended up watching the entire first season in one sitting and absolutely loved it. The next day I bought seasons 2 and 3 at Best Buy for $19.99 each and blazed through them in just a few days. I finally bought season 5B at Best Buy for $34.95 and finished it off in one sitting.

In less than two weeks, I watched the entire series and only ended up paying about $90 out of pocket for the whole series on blu-ray.

I freakin' love this show! I would rate it in my top three favorite shows of all time, with The X-Files and Game of Thrones. It's quite depressing and dark, but it's also one of the most thrilling, edge-of-your-seat shows I've ever experienced in my life, and it has a lot more dark humor than I was expecting. There are many laugh out loud, yet horribly disturbing moments in this show, and I really dig that a lot.

[Show spoiler]I'm embarrased to admit it, but I also cried a little bit at the end of the last episode when Walt lovingly taps the gauge and then caresses the tank while "Baby Blue" is playing.

After finishing the whole series a couple of days ago, I went back and watched the first episode again last night and I found it much more entertaining this time around with the foreknowledge of what is to come. I think it's hilarious that pretty much the first thing you see is Walter's pants flying through the air, since he isn't wearing them, just like Hal from Malcom in the Middle. I also really love the look on Walt's face when he's holding Hank's gun all awkward at the birthday party, considering how many people he ends up killing later, and the fact that he's already manipulating Jesse from the very beginning by forcing him to go into business with him so he won't turn him in to the cops. I also laughed my ass off at the "Alternate Ending".

I will definitely be enjoying these blu-rays many more times in the future and am so glad I blindly took a chance on this show.
