The "Big Haul" yesterday totaled 65 Twilight Time movies. And to make the day even more memorable, the shipment coincided with my one year wedding anniversary.

I'm still waiting on about 40 more films from the sale that were placed in a series of smaller orders. I'd have to double check, but I added a grand total of about 115 movies.

23 titles were purchased at $7.95, while most of the remainder were $14.95. I placed a final order with a smattering of 22.95 titles.

My reasoning: The combination of Twilight Time films being limited in quantity (I hate it as much as everyone else) with the desirability of most of the movies themselves, along with the best sale offered in five years, was too alluring to pass up. I didn't hold back.

Carpe Diem indeed.

I was years behind on the TT catalogue. I'm thrilled to catch up, and glad my patience waiting on several titles paid off. The total damage for yesterdays shipment, not including the remaining 40 movies: about $900.

Thanks to a coupon from Zia, the 20% Cartwheel deal and Drafthouse. Excited to own MIAMI. I saw it screened in Austin, saw the Rifftrax earlier this year, and I haven't yet seen it on the small screen!
