I see the statement "doesn't hold up" applied to anything and my entire body turns into a raisin and it gets picked apart by a swarm of mice and gnats

Watched III last night and it's still about on par with II. If it weren't for Neil it would be a turd.

Reviews are pretty bad with Dominion and Fallen Kingdom was awful (a guy keeping dinosaurs in his basement is ridiculous).

Jurassic Park & Jurassic World are the only two great movies in this series. The rest pale in comparison and aren’t even worth the time to rewatch.

If I don’t like Dominion, I’m seriously considering getting rid of the Steelbook multipack & Fallen Kingdom and just picking up the single pack of Park & World and forgetting the rest exist.

I liked Fallen Kingdom more and can rewatch it without issue. It is the significantly dumber film of the two (and honestly I gave it a lot of leeway because of what I thought it was leading up to), but it's definitely more fun.

Dominion definitely edges it out with its visual spectacle (CGI and animatronics), but I'd say Fallen Kingdom was no slouch in that department once they got off the island either.

That being said, I have a feeling you may end up going your suggested route.

Ugh, frustrating. I want to like these movies, they're just no good. Park & World show how good they can be, how can the sequels fail so badly?

I like all 5, think the first one is the best, and think 5 & 4 are on par. Guess I'm an oddball, lol.

I like all five too. Equally no. I haven't watched 6 yet, but I'm sure I'll like it too. Jurassic Park movies are just always so much fun to watch. Nothing tops the first one though. Part 4 was probably my second favorite one. 5 was the weakest so far. I guess you're not the only odd ball here lol.

I enjoy them all too. I’m in the extreme minority but I actually love the third one.

Universal have really let me down today.

I’ve been buying the Jurassic Park/World 4K steelbooks from HMV since they released (the original black ones with the film logo on each) and now for Dominion’s release, they aren’t finishing it off. It appears the only steelbook edition is that Zavvi collection and a steelbook with Blue on it. Absolute penises.

Going to see Dominion today and we’re already off to a bad start.

Agree 100%. I enjoy those two as well and are the only ones I bother to re-watch. I had high hopes for Dominion so I could finally have that elusive third title and complete a nice little Jurassic trilogy but yikes, yet another weak entry (trying to be kind lol). The plan was to pitch the II & III discs from my set and slap Dominion in (I love that the steel case simply says "Jurassic Park" on it, perfect for a custom set) but oh well. I'm one of those odd balls that doesn't care how amazing or demo worthy a movie looks/sounds, it can't be a klunker of a movie for me to purchase it.

I have enjoyed all 5 so far. Nothing can come close to the jaw-dropping revelation that took place when seeing the original in the theater. It was cinematic magic. You confront the laws of diminishing returns thereafter, but I like all of them, including Fallen Kingdom (which still chokes me up at one point). And I'm looking forward to Dominion.

I like 'em all, though certainly some more than others. I've seen all of them except for III in the theater (Jurassic Park on opening weekend, The Lost World on opening night), and I'll be watching Dominion tonight as well. The energy that accompanies watching a movie in a sold-out showing with other fans makes even mediocre movies just a bit better.

I see those trailers for the new one and the T-Rex walking into that logo fountain thing is the biggest "wow this is just like that scene in the first one except cooler clap now" moment I never could have dreamed, its such perfect unintentional satire of what this series has become. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I saw an advance screening with eager fans, and I can't remember a single moment when fans clapped or applauded. Many jokes also fell flat with no laughter.

I didn't see the trailers beforehand, so I found the shot interesting but it left me with no feel whatsoever.
