I'm also hoping that this tourney plays out. Maybe with those on the waiting list being added it will still be awesome. I really want it to at least do well enough that everyone wants to play in at least a 2nd tourney too.

You should join regardless. It's fun and you don't have to worry about immature kids on PSN.

I have over 500 wins, and about 140 losses, and I'm pretty average. There are times where I get killed too.

I truly believe that this Tournament could've been epic had the PSN breach NOT happened. People lost interest after a while because no one could play online.

I would probably just stick with your original opponent and contact him, but Mr. J would have to update the bracket again. Just make sure he's going to show up on Friday.

Grimshaw, stick with Gamma instead. He is your opponent now. I've already contacted Gamma about replacing DefTech so I don't plan on switching it back.

Mortal Kombat Tournament Rules & Important Info

• 1. This will be a "Best out of Five" series meaning the first member to win 3 matches against your opponent moves on to the next Round of the Tournament.

• 2. Please review the 1st, and 2nd Post of the thread to see the Due Dates for each Round, Important Tournament News, and Tournament Bracket. Post #3 of this thread has Player Rankings, and Records.

• 3. Everyone has a different schedule and lives in a different time zone. Please contact your opponent via PM (Private Messaging), PSN messages, or post on this thread. Just because you post your time of availability on this thread doesn't mean your opponent will see your post. Send them a PM, and PSN message as well to cover all aspects of contacting your opponent.

• 4. As of now, we have not figured a way to track matches online to determine the true winner so when your match is over for that Round. We expect you to come clean as a mature adult to post the Match Results who won so we can list the winner into the next Round. Please make sure you post how many matches you played so we can keep track of stats for future references. (Example.... I won 3 matches, my opponent won only 1.) It is also mandatory that both Players post on the thread to confirm who is advancing to the next round once your matches have been played.

• 5. Please read the Community Gaming Guidelines. There will be NO exceptions if you break any of the rules. https://forum.blu-ray.com/community-...-4-8-11-a.html

• 6. If there's a problem with contacting your opponent. Please see the Tournament Host, or Gaming Moderator (if needed). If we see that you're the one that's active on the forum trying to contact and schedule your match. You will have the slight edge to move on to the next Round if you never hear from your opponent. Again, please contact the Host, or Gaming Mod that's participating BEFORE you declare yourself the winner.

• 7. If we don't see any scheduling activity in (1) bracket. Those matches that are not played by the Due Date for that particular Round will be determined by a "Coin Flip" to see who moves on to the next Round. The Coin Flip will be played "Best out of Five" as well to determine the winner.
  
  
• 8. Disconnections! If you're in Round 1 and you get disconnected....just start over. If you've made it to Round 2 or 3 and you get disconnected, start over but let the person who won Round 1 (and/or Round 2), win that Round again and you just start over from the Round you were disconnected in.
  
  
• 9. Once the Tournament has begun, and you contact your opponent to set a date and time, they have 48 hours to respond to your Private Message. After 48 hours has passed and there is no word from them, then I will replace them with someone on the waiting list. I will not place them back into the Tournament if they've been replaced.

We'll make adjustments as we continue to move forward.
