I saw a bunch of those pink slipped dvds today. I found it funny they had Blue Valentine in the Valentines Day section. Guess they probably just figured since it has Valentine in the title.

Walmart had it for $7.88 like a year ago. But I only saw it in a Walmart 2 hours away. That's where I got it. I think it was that price on their site for a bit as well.

The one I saw today was dvd. But I also saw the blu ray in store early last year in a $7.88 cardboard bin. One that was taken away a short while later.

I just hope Walmart changes their films around pretty soon.

The ones they have out right now are really stale. While the $7.88 bucket is nice, I'm not really won over by a lot of the low-budget films, wrestling films, or kids films.

A large portion of the bin at my store are the four film combo packs with movies I've never even heard about or have any desire to see.

I know they get different $6 titles every once and a while, but I hope that it's sooner than later.

Their Disney section also reduced quite a lot. I know they had A LOT of Disney blus for $24.96 but now they only have about 10 titles.

Yeah, like I mentioned earlier, it's mostly DVDs.

They had a large chunk in the main Blu-ray kiosk and the Disney kiosk, but that reduced with the fluctuation in DVDs again.

Went to my local Wally World today in hopes of grabbing Ransom and Road to Perdition...don't even have $7.88 Blu's in the store. Like others have said, they cleaned out a lot of their Blu Ray's...just about all I saw were DVD's. Looks like I now have zero reason do go to Wal Mart.

I'm sure they still have plenty of bedbugs available. At least all the stores around here do ...

Ya I know I hate this big tub thing they put them in. My store originally had them in like a box type thing where you could easy go through them all. Now I have to dig for them. Its like one guy said to me they make you work for it.

All of the Wal-Marts in our city (Wichita, Kansas), and we have 9 Supercenters open 24 hours a day, have two bins - one in the center aisle that is the overflowing $5 DVD bin and then back towards the back of the store in the next aisle they have a $5 & up bin that are solely for Blu-rays. I have picked up a lot of great titles there in the past few weeks.

Yesterday for $7.99 I updated my James Bond collection to Blu by purchasing "Goldeneye", "Diamonds Are Forever", "The Living Daylights", and "Goldfinger". I am going to keep my eye on these bins over the next few weeks. It helps that my son works at one of Wal-Marts and he always lets me know when they are going to load up the bins.

I found Stand By Me in these one day. I didn't get it because I have no idea what the movie is like but I'm sure it will be back there again.

I was fumbling through the $7.88 bin today, and found that my Walmart had wrapped many of the Miramax Double Features together into two-packs. For example, these are three of the combos I can remember:

So, essentially, you're getting 4 movies for $7.88.

(Sorry if this has been mentioned already.)

I saw them today too. I probably would have bought them if they weren't from Echo Bridge.

Yeah, I buy any of them either. I've purchased a couple of these in the past and they've been OK, but there wasn't anything I needed today, even at that price. I just wanted to share with the group.
