I missed buying the steelbook at Best Buy this morning. Rather than drive 45 minutes to another store, I opted to order it online. Will be here in a few days.

If you bought the 3D blu-ray combo pack and the digital HD code doesn't work or you screwed up the redeeming process on the site, can you ask Disney for a new one?

I made it to BestBuy 10 minutes to closing. Found 1 steelbook stashed but the discs were knocking around inside so I just got the regular 3D. There were dozens and dozens on hand.

Do you happen to know what the subject on that email was ?

I usually delete their emails too but at least it'd still be in the trash if nothing else then [if I got it originally too, that is]

Those are two different things....

Doesn't work, yes, you'd end up getting a replacement.

Screwed up? meaning, user error -- ie, you redeemed it in a service besides the one you intended to? That might be YMMV on getting that fixed by them then..

The subject actually was pretty straight forward.

Preordered the steelbook at Best Buy weeks ago (got a cardboard about it as well). Came in at the end of the day, and no steelbook.

That's the first time that's happened. So I asked for my money back, went to Target and PM'd the Best Buy price with the bonus DMA content.

A little stunned, and certainly only ordering online for preorders from now on.

I got one of those $10 e-mails about a month ago. They just pop up out of nowhere for no reason. It said something like we miss you come on back and it had the store I initially signed up for my RZ. The thing is I moved and I no longer used that store for purchases. But its totally random.

If that deal ever comes back again, since MCU movies are never ending, I'll probably just unlink, redeem on VUDU, then link accounts again. Since I usually just redeem on DMR for these movies. But yeah maybe I should start thinking about selling, trading, gifting these Disney digital copies. Thanks for the idea.
Hmm, when I got the email about that promotion as well, VUDU had me checked off for a few that I have from their list, but all of them were DMR/DMA redemption as I prefer to own the points as well. I never redeemed them directly on VUDU, but since it was linked to DMA, it still gave me credit as part of their promotion. I honestly don't think it's worth all the effort just to get $5 VUDU credit lol. It's more of their silly bait to get customers to buy more. Speaking of VUDU credits, you can send a text with the word ZOMBIE to 698838, and they'll send you a $2 VUDU credit for free! Think it's limited to one per account, but still it's better than nothing!

What's the best way to redeem this?
I got the 3D version.
My DMR is linked to my DMA which is linked to my Sister's Vudu.
I have my own Vudu account? If I redeem it on my Vudu first, can I still redeem it on DMR which will then add it to my DMA?
Or is it only DMR/DMA?

DMR. Only reason I considered VUDU was for a promo which is dead.

So I purchased the 3-D version of Ant-Man today and the paper with the digital code doesn't have a code. Just a grey box. Is the code ant-sized?

Any ideas?

Expected to get the 3D version and sell the 3D discs but I actually liked the cover art more for the 2D version, so I got that. Same thing happened with Guardians of the Galaxy. Excited to watch this for the first time tonight. Was at a holiday party last night.

^this reply is wrong about being DMR only.

You have it correct;
If a title comes with a digital copy, it's not going to ever be a "DMR only" code.

If you redeemed it on your own vudu, that would be the DC+ portion, leaving the DMR/DMA portion intact.

That part could be used on your DMR account connected to your sister's Vudu, and she would get it in that Vudu due to the DMA connection.
So long as your DC+ Vudu account isn't tied to any DMA accounts (as it would then get put in there upon your redemption)

My 2D Ant-Man, bought from Amazon US, came in a standard blue case. It clashes hard with that artwork aesthetically. Anybody else have this happen?

Can someone explain why the 3D Ant-Man disc is now $24.99 and not the $19.99 it was on Tuesday?

both the 2D and 3D covers are aesthetic nightmares, not sure the color of the case would really help.

I heard that the steelbook didn't last very long either that or Best Buy didn't stock too many out on the store floor then. I'll be getting this on Friday after work i have an $5 reward zone that i just got earlier this week so i'll be using it towards that too.

BestBuy.com went out of stock online on Tuesday. It's now back in stock.

I guess because they didn't advertise the regular 3D combo as $19.99 (only the $27.99 3D Steelbook and the 1 disc BD release is advertised) in the printed weekly ad, they decided just to prove match the higher $24.99 Target.com and Amazon prices (the latter which was matching the former when BestBuy.com was OOS).
