Sam Neill and/or The Goldblum returning would be amazing.

Also, Giganotosaurus needs to be the star of this one.

Nah, I think it should be the Pterodactyls given that we saw them fly off at the end of Jurassic World and were a very credible threat for the tourists when they escaped.

Just Pterodactyls? How painfully boring.

Plus, people want something bigger and meaner.

Giganotosaurus is that to a T.

Nah, that'll all happen in Jurassic World 3, for the grand finale of the franchise... until they reboot it as Jurassic Universe. They finally track down the last of the escaped pterodactyls, everyone's high fiving over mankinds big victory... and then alien dinosaurs land in Manhattan.

Well it would make JP III look like a masterpiece at least the Spino was the big bad. If they make a movie with the Pterodactyls as the big bad is because they want to kill the franchise, it would suck.

Yeah, their return in the series would be welcome IMO.

Very interested to see how they're going to be able to keep going with the concept of a Jurassic Theme park considering how much trouble they've had in the past. "Well, we have a giant zoo of Dinosaurs, but there's a 100% chance they'll eventually escape and eat people... Let's start construction on the new zoo as soon as possible."

I thought I read somewhere that this one could be called JURASSIC WAR, and it'd deal more with Pine trying to stop Wu from using new, trained Dinos in other areas of the world. Maybe I heard wrong.

Yeah, the theme park idea has to go out the window. They even address it in JW, when BDH says, "We'd never re-open," in response to someone telling her they need to evacuate the whole park.

I like that idea of a Jurassic War. Anything to change it up away from the idea of a theme park.

Didn't Delta, Echo and Charlie died in JW?
I believe Blue was the sole raptor survivor.

If they want to introduce more large theropods, Giganotosaurus is my main pick. Always thought it'd be cool to see a Jurassic Park take on that animal.

Another thing I'd love to see now in further installments are more scientifically accurate dinosaurs. Jurassic World explained that the theme park dinosaurs we've seen look the way they do because they're mixed with all kinds of modern animals and would look "very different" if they weren't. So let's say somebody clones more "pure" dinosaurs, that's the perfect excuse to introduce more bird-like, feathered raptors and the like.

Aren't you thinking of Jurassic Park III here? That's the one where we see Pteranodons fly away from the island at the end, I don't recall seeing such a thing at the end of Jurassic World.

There likely isn't going to be more theme parks, no islands either. Colin Trevorrow has hinted at the sequel(s) being about the cloning technology going "open-source" and having multiple entities around the world cloning dinosaurs, and not necessarily for entertainment purposes like Hammond and InGen did.

That sounds great. There were more than unambiguous hints in JW that the raptors trained by Owen were being prepped to be deployed in war zones. I could totally envisage a prologue for the next "Jurassic" film set in a dust-filled, urban-guerilla-type Middle-Eastern conflict area featuring special ops forces prepping an area before the deployment of a raptor squad. Think Black Hawk Down (I know that was in Africa) but with dinosaurs.

You might argue they will have veered into fantastical sci-fi territory if they went the above route, but if handled with a considered approach it might work. I think they've already abandoned the semi-realistic aesthetic / approach with the white "Predator" dinosaur in JW. That was pure sci-fi.

A film all about the finances and corporate politics of the park in which the actual dinosaurs are never seen. Moneysaur
