Picked up
Looper @ 40% off and Superman/Batman:Public Enemies (w/slip), Edge of Tomorrow, and Star Trek 6 using the buy 2 get 1 for $1.

Paid twenty and change for all four.

If anyone can pick up an extra Twilight Zone: The Movie would be interested.

Don't know if Roger Rabbit with slip is rare but my FYE has 3 or 4 if anyone needs one.

A very faint 5. They offered to take an additional 30% off, but I have the steel.

Seems to be, as the person marking the prices thought the Shout editions of the MGM movies are repackaged MGM discs and put the lower tags meant for those editions. What they don't realize, not being movie buffs or collectors, is that the Shout! discs are different so IDK what goes through the minds of the workers. I also once saw the Twilight Time reissue disc of Christine in the used pile with Sony copies marked $7.99.

I got Who Framed Roger Rabbit? With slip for $6.99 There was no sales sticker on it. But I asked the guy to scan it and it was that price.

Also got Daddy's Home for $6 something after using the 40% code. Would Have Gotten The Nightmare Before Christmas used with slip. But it was $24.99. And after the 40% code. It stil lbe like $16 or so.

Went to a different FYE today and couldn't find anything worth getting. Rebels Season 1 was $24.99 before coupon but I'll just wait for a complete set or Netflix. Oh well.

I just got Daddy's Home cause I didn't wanna waste it, or the ink I used to print it out. Even though i'm sure that movie will likely be $5 or so on BF.

I found used copies of Avatar, Godzilla (2014), and The Wolverine on sale for $5 and they were only $11 combined because of the buy 2 get 1 for $1 deal on used movies.

Wow deal. Never seen a sales sticker on a used before. Those are normally only ever on new movies.

I have to go on a hunt for Roger Rabbit tomorrow! Is it in bargain area or just the family zone?

In the family section. Mine was in the Disney area on the top shelve.

Like JLF, the ones I found were in a special Disney section at the end of the family section in my store. In my case, in the W's.

There was like 4-5 copies. None had the sales sticker, but rang up on sale.

So, does the 40% coupon stack with the B2GO $1 promo? I picked up a few titles tonight (will post them shortly) and I did have 2 used in the mix but also used the 40% coupon. I asked when I was checking out if I could stack them and the cashier said yes, but didn't sound very sure and didn't ask if I wanted to grab another title, so I didn't press it.

If you can stack them, do they take the lowest cost title as the $1 one? I assume that would be the case if they allowed it, which is why I didn't press it, since getting another title would have most likely cost me more than $1 in actuality, if they rang them up that way.

I think only one promo is allowed at a time.

But yeah. during a B2Go the lowest priced item is likely the $1 one.

I've been told by a seemingly confidently knowledgeable employee that discounts don't stack, unless it's the paid discount membership service that they sell.

As for the B2G1, I specifically asked about how the $1 item is chosen and was told that the computer matches up similarly priced titles into 3s and gives you the third for $1. So, if you have 3 $5 items and 3 $4 items, 1 $5 item will be $1 and 1 $4 will be $1. My experience has born this out.

The easiest example to give would be my experience during the B1G1 $1 sale recently. I purchased 20+ $5 and $4 items, but also purchased the Argo Declassified Extended Edition priced at $23 and 300: The Complete Experience priced at $17. And with Argo and 300 being the 2 most expensive items easily, indeed, 300 was discounted down to $1, being grouped with Argo for the purposes of promo pricing.
