The 4K versions on Vudu and iTunes do NOT have the IMAX scenes, so it's definitely exclusive to FandangoNOW.
So is there a 3D version of the film that will come with a code that would access the imax ratios? Or is that for the 4K codes only?

Almost pulled the pin on the Japanese steel book version. Best art IMO, especially compared to the other steel book designs. Shipped it would be about $85 right now. I'm a fan, but that would push it I think. Kind of surprised they didn't have the 3rd bonus disc some have shown.

Edit: Just got reply from Sanity and that is the correct art for the AUS version. Just fyi.
Wondering if I should be concerned about the fact that the UK amazon listing of the 3D disc doesn't have a date listed? I currently have the Germen edition preordered, as I expected it to not be released in the UK (as with other Sony Releases). I'm thinking about switching my preorder to the UK, since thats where I bought all of my other 3D MCU movies, and I wouldnt mind a bit of consistency, plus I prefer the cover. But I don't want to get screwed with a late release date.

Do you have a link for this edition? I'm in Canada, and I always order the UK versions off of amazon for my 3D imports, I use Amazon Germany or Italy for the Sony discs, since they don't release in the UK (until now), but I always have to wait so long for my movie to arrive, seems like Rahul is much quicker.

Had a chance to view tonight. The 5.1 track definitely sounds more full than the Atmos Track on the 4K disc, but not quite as full as the 7.1 on the Blu-ray.

The movie looks absolutely fantastic in 3D with tons of depth and a fair amount of pop-outs. Definitely Medium to strong 3D. I’d put this up along with several of the other great Marvel titles, though I did notice a few more conversion errors on this particular title. I saw this theatrically in IMAX and in Dolby Vision (2D) but I felt like the IMAX bars opening up from 2.39:1 to 1.90:1 during a few sections of the film didn’t really add much - it seemed like an afterthought, so I’m not really lamenting it’s loss here. It’s such a shame that this title isn’t being released in the US, but I highly recommend purchasing the Indian Version. Mine came with the slipcover, bonus disc and had disc art on all three discs.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts on the soundtracks! I will remux my 3d copy with the 7.1 DTS audio even though I have a 5.1.2 setup. I'll use DTS:Neural X in lieu of the Atmos when I finally watch it.

So 3 different mixes for the same film in one pack... utterly ridiculous isn’t it. Should be Atmos for the 4K and 3D and maybe 7.1 for the 2D Blu Ray. It’s so irritating and unnecessary.

I would guess Amazon UK will be at or around 11/11 since that is when other UK sellers list as in stock. They may not be committing on the order page because it wasn't intended for the market and don't want to say they will have it if the demand exceeds supply since they couldn't order as usual to resell.

FWIW, Amazon UK or Sanity is good to go. Cover art is different but my last order from JB Hifi shipped fast from AUS. Sanity is the same but they don't charge VAT first and make you ask for it back. AUS version releases 10/23, probably you could have before end of month if the art works for you.

I saw too many other cover choices and cancelled my Sanity and UK preorders. Thought it wouldn't matter but then thought about the boxes I wished I had gotten but missed out on. I ended up finding a deal on a digital code to watch again and decided to wait for the Japanese version. At this point it ships in 2 months. Amazon UK style is about the next best choice to me. I like a Spiderman cover, not a Tom Holland cover.

Hooray! Mine just arrived, slip cover and all! (can't stand them!). Will be watching the 3D version tonight.

I'm trying to find somewhere I can order this and spiderverse in 3d and get it to the United States without waiting for a UK pre-order. Any recommendations?

Spider-Verse is 2D only in the UK anyway so that isn't an option. Seems like the Australian sites may be your best bet (since they have Spider-verse with English captions on screen) but Sanity has a 10/23/19 release date for Far From Home. So if you can't wait a few weeks, Rahul is your only option for Far From Home 3D I believe.

Thanks for posting this. I just couldn’t get myself to order from Rahul on this title after seeing how craptacular my Venom and Spiderverse slips were. Any other movie other than an MCU film and it probably wouldn’t have been an issue for me, but with this one, I know I’d wind up ordering the UK version just for the higher quality slip if it wound up coming with one even if I caved and bought the India version previously, but now that we have fairly reliable confirmation on this when they updated the listing, I’ll just wait on the UK version.

I just checked Sanity, It seems like it would be cheaper then amazon UK and Germany... thats assuming the website is listed in AUS dollars? Or is it USD? Ive never used Sanity before, but if its cheaper and it will come earlier, I will switch my order!

It is listed in AUS dollars. Exchanges figure out to be within a dollar or two. Think UK was the cheaper one IIRC but you would have it before the UK releases.

For once I’m glad to have the vastly SUPERIOR LOSSLESS DTS mix instead of the Atmos. And based on the vast majority of pro reviews I’m not alone.

I ordered the 3D Steelbook from Rahul via Amazon. I ordered it on a Friday, and received it that following Monday! We watched it this past weekend, and in my humble opinion, this was the best 3D by far on any Spiderman movie to date. I felt like I had finally gotten the 3D Spiderman experience that I always wanted (and the movie was pretty good too!) Two thumbs up on this one!!

My 3D steelbook order from Rahul via Walmart that I placed last Tuesday October 1, 2019 was cancelled. Bummer. Previously had a negative experience with Rahul a few years back with my Pirates 5 3D. Was hoping this would work out but I guess not.

Thanks, with shipping to Canada, it ends up being more expensive.

How do you actually find Rahul’s listing on Amazon?

Someone had provided me with a link, but apparently he has sold out of all his Amazon Spiderman Far From Home editions, as none of them are available any more. However, he does still have a store on Amazon listed under "Rahul & I."

Odd email from JBHifi yesterday -- they have Far From Home (all versions) releasing Oct 9, but Sanity and AmaAUS still have the date as 23rd? I don't think I've ever seen JB get an exclusive 2 week headstart on everyone else so surely it's an error, but anyone with a different explanation.

Any Aussies able to check in store to see if they are actually selling them this week?

So still nothing concrete on the release of the UK version of this 3D Blu-ray? Specifically I pre-ordered months ago on AmazonUK and still see a release date of June 2022.
