I wonder if the english dub on the HK cut have Lorelei sung in english at the end while the cantonese track has it sung in chinese. Anyone know? And whats the hybrid track all about?

Yes the English dubs will have the end songs sung in English & the Cantonese tracks will have the Cantonese versions.

The hybrid track uses the classic English dub that we all know and love for the European actors and all the Chinese actors will mostly speak Cantonese with English subtitles.

I hope everyone is happy with all the audio choices!!

It's been corrected to:

[new] Audio commentary by Kenneth Brorsson & Phil Gillon of the Podcast On Fire Network

Which is myself and Phil Gillon.

Can someone edit the specs post on the previous page to reflect this change? So it doesn't sound as mysterious anymore

I'm probably in a minority here but the addition of 'Pixelated Punch: The Early Video Game Years of Jackie Chan' has me excited. I used to own Jackie Chan's Kung Fu on the NES so I'm interested to see this feature

Top work all round! I would like to see the cover art used by Mediumrare as a poster but one can't have everything I guess. KFB's art looks fantastic with the female assassins going all out for his nether regions with their kicks

According to Wikipedia, Kung Fu Master (aka Spartan X) is based on Wheels on Meals, I always thought it was more Game of Death TBH with the advancing floors of a tower But Wheels on Meals was called Spartan X in Japan, so it would make sense

So excited about this, looks awesome! I've just started collecting 88 films kung fu movies which means I missed out on Armour of god 2 limited edition. I just checked and it's being sold for a fortune on ebay, sigh. I guess i'll just buy the regular edition instead, can't justify that price. I won't miss on the first one this time!

Will the English parts in the hybrid cut still be subtitled, or just the Cantonese ones? English isn't my native language and i'm often watching movies late at night at lower volumes, so it would be great if everything was still subbed.

Regardless, it's shapping up to be a stellar release!

The price of Jackie Chan Stuntmaster on PS1 is pretty high these days, it's one I won't ever part with though.

I'm going to be really sad once 88 is done with the Chan catalogue, these releases have been spectacular.

A stacked special edition that releases in 2 months (or maybe 1 month?) and it doesn’t even appear on their own website. I preordered it a month ago from Amazon UK. I may never understand this company.

I'm praying that this happens. They've re-released Dragons Forever and that original release was flawless, so an improved release should be a no brainer?
