Frey done kicked me hard. Fortunately it's still there, unlike Greyjoy. And to top it off, Snow is riddled with arrows. That house is cursed. You have the White Walkers to the north, Dany is amassing quite an army to the south and winter is coming. Crazy times in Westeros.

[Show spoiler]There is some amazing stuff coming up this season that you might really like. Also, originally the last book (which hasn't been released yet) was to be titled "A Time for Wolves", but he says it's now to be called "A Dream of Spring".

I also liked all three of those blind buys. Dredd in particular really surprised me.

My guess is that after your experience, that you would say no.

As much as you seem to love your projector I wouldn't risk it. But if you can do it without having to disconnect anything then maybe.

But mostly bad things happen when you get greedy and want to tinker around for those last few % of performance.

Yeah, I think you're right. It's actually looking much better now. Probably as good or better than ever overall. I'm not sure if cleaning the prism right in front of the lamp, or reseating the lamp housing better, or just breaking in the new lamp a bit has helped it, but it is looking pretty great to me right now.

The only way that I can see anything inconsistent at all now is with a completely bright white image on the whole screen. There is a very mild (almost nonexistent) hint of redness on the far left side of the screen, and just a tiny bit of green on the far right side of the screen. Unless it's showing a completely white image on the whole screen, it looks perfect. I even projected a completely white image last night to show a friend of mine, and he didn't even notice it at all until I told him what to look for.

I don't really know that much about the original story from the comics, but I really enjoyed the extended version. I guess now that you mention it, the snow plow was a bit much.

I finally manned up and did the audyssey pro calibration with 8 mic placements.

Measurements will be next. So i finally can see what's going on and not just hear it.

I just cracked open my first ice cold oat soda and poured it into a glass. I like beer from a glass, it makes me feel all fancy. Actually, I don't really know why but I always drink my beer from a glass.

When I first got my 809 avr I used to run Audyssey constantly and I have a notebook full of notes that I wrote down each time with all of the exact Audyssey settings, sound characteristics, exact measured mic placement for each location, and suggestions for improvements for the next calibration.

Not sure if I just got it good enough, or just got tired of doing it anymore, but I haven't re-ran it in several months.
