So does this crew mean Boston or LA is more likely to win?

Bill Kennedy ejected 'Sheed earlier this year(His response: who hasn't), and has an ongoing spat with Doc Rivers dating back to an incident in 2008 when they were both fined.

Bennett Salvatore is considered a "home" official and Phil Jackson commented earlier this year that "you dont' know what your gonna get with him." That being said, Boston fans certainly aren't enamored with Salvatore either.

Danny Crawford is considered one of the best officials. However, it was reported in a Boston paper after a Celtics-Bulls, that he was seen leaving with relatives garbed in Bulls gear. Hopefully he doesn't hold grudges.

Toss up at this point.

Okay, expecting a lot of fouls then in what should be a physical game, considering I heard teams that go up 2-1 are 10-0 in those series.

The only thing I expect is for the crowd to get on the officials from the get go. I wonder if Salvatore will try to call a foul on Gino.

Starting to wonder when the ageless Ray Allen will slow down, he's 34? He's nearing the end of a fantastic career but he's playing like a man 10 years younger.

Lets see who gets affected the most by this quick short turnaround time. Im voting for Bynum, who knows how that knee will respond after 40 minutes logged and a 5 hour flight.

Gasol, Bynum, Bryant, Garnett, Allen, Pierce, Fisher and Wallace will all feel the exhaustion the most in this game, hoping it affects the Lakers' players more.

I disagree on two of those. Gasol and Kobe will be fine, all others I agree with you.

They've played 2 games in what, 6 days? If anyone on either team feels exhausted they have issues. The NBA playoffs is getting ridiculous with how many off-days they give. It feels like the playoffs is taking longer than the regular season.

I like the meaningless stat that Los Angeles hasn't beaten Boston at home in the Finals since the '80s.

So much for all those Boston fans that thought Paul Pierce and Walker would be enough to get them to the Finals.

There was a stretch of several years post-Jordan's second retirement where the East was so bad that Pierce/Walker combo almost did get them to the Finals.

Usually need more than a good 3-4 combo to do it, though.

My guess is they will try to call enough fouls on both teams to try to keep it close but Boston is more talented and deeper so they should make it 2-1 at home.

It's a sad state of affairs when that sort of thing even warrants discussion. But in this playoffs it matters almost as much as almost any other aspect.

Boston fans know this better than most after the tuck rule went for and against them, I think even in consecutive play-off seasons.
