After owning the Blu-ray collection for years I decided to pick up Jurassic Park in 4k for only $10 from Best Buy. I already own Fallen Kingdom and Dominion in 4k. I always hesitated on double dipping the first Jurassic Park because of all the negative reviews of a disappointing mediocre 4k transfer.

My experience is quite the opposite! It looks like a substantial upgrade to my eyes and was worth the $10. I don’t know if it’s my Oppo 203 or 75” Sony 940E that enhances the 4k transfer but I immediately noticed a much cleaner picture and superior lighting versus the Blu-ray.

Yeah, as someone already mentioned, taken from a 35mm print scan (which were printed with all scenes without CGI or without major CGI as open matte and most to all scenes with major CGI as flat (1.85:1)).

Free codes for the entire series.
(HD, not 4K)

U24OHMJ4NRFRA7B3

Not sure if it's a 0 or an O, but I'm sure someone will figure it out and get the codes.

I decided to watch through the entire Park/World set this week and I’m telling you now Jurassic Park 3 is still the cream of the crop.

Nah, always gonna be the first one!
That said, I do feel like JP3 gets way underrated! I like it better than the second. It's wayyyy up there.

I see we have a JP3 detractor above hah, but just to not confuse anyone wondering about the transfer quality. Sadly, I believe many feel that JP3 wasn't actually among the best of the transfers and sadly JP and JP3 seems to be regarded as the worst of the transfers.

I wouldn't say it's the cream of the crop but I will say it's the one Jurassic movie I watch the most. It's a fast paced, excellent cgi popcorn dino movie. I rank it as my second favorite after the original.

That’s pretty much it. I accept that the original is the better film but I still think Jurassic Park 3 is the only one that strikes the perfect balance of stupidity and fun that is appropriate for a movie about a dinosaur amusement park.

This is the correct order. I really like Jurassic World. Dominion tries to be too epic. Too many characters and too much going on, kind of like Rise of Skywalker.
