The 2006 remake of Black Christmas was pretty good!

I agree. I think people weren't willing to take the humor element, and instead were angry or disappointed that it wasn't like the original.

Also, I really like the cast so I was pre-disposed to liking before it even started rolling.

People still don't get it. Marty means "cinema" in the sense of having your voice to be heard by expressing yourself through film. Where as Marvel Studios strictly limits you from doing that simply for commercial reasons. It's either Kevin Feige's way, or the high way. This is why Marvel Studios hire these small indie directors, because they are a lot more easier to control.

X-Men: Apocalypse is more enjoyable than Logan.

I know this is a really unpopular opinion but I actually love The Descent Part 2. I think of it as a third ending to the first film.

Ranking the endings from Best to above average, the US ending was the best and most definitive ending for me > Part 2 was a great "What if" ending > and UK ending was good but "dark" ending.

US ending being the best ending certainly belongs in this thread.

I remember seeing the The Descent in theaters and loved how it ended and years later I finally saw the UK ending, I actually had no idea another ending existed for a long time. Had the UK ending been in the final cut in the US I would've probably been a little annoyed walking out of the theater but I'm glad that wasn't the case.

I respect other peoples opinions though, especially the ones who saw the UK cut first.

I came here to express my praise for both Rob Zombie Halloween movies; I was so happy to read all the love for the Zombieweens. I AM NOT ALONE !

I often think that if Zombie had created a new character, instead of using the Micheal Myers name, these movies would have been better received, there would be a new series to watch, and lots of merchandise to collect.

This new character would be one of the "big ones" alongside Jason, Freddy, Micheal, Ghostface, Leatherface, etc.

That one and Curse are the worst/least favs from the series (I haven't seen the 2019 version, yet). Bride is the best.

I dunno how old you are, but if you was around or old enough to of seen the first film when it was released, it's kinda funny that in hindsight or in theory you would of had to of waited through 10 years of Nightmare on Elm Street films till your favourite came along.

Edit: or by the time the Elm Street films had had their day, and that the peak of freddy had pretty much passed and been left in the 80's. (that's not a knock, iv got a big fondness for the films)
