^I totally forgot about this until you just said that, but about two weeks ago my gf was really nervous about a doctor's appointment ( she tends to faint at them lol), so I kept saying to her "WWWWD"...What would Wonder Woman Do? I kept repeating the letters till it was strongly cemented in her mind. And during the appointment she said it to herself, and it worked, no fainting. She told the doctor her "secret", and they actually made a note of the saying in her chart.

Finally got to see WW during week 2, it was glorious. It hit so many grand notes, like Superman 78, and The Rocketeer, and Capn America. A truly visionary experience, excellently crafted script, and masterful directing and acting.

Now, can't wait to see it in 4K and Dolby Vision in my home cinema.
Oppo 203 and Sony Z9D. (My lord, I hope Sony has that FW out by this fall...)

The trailers never impressed me so I didn't see this right away. But I went tonight. It was amazing. Such beautiful cinematography. The action scenes were also well directed and clear.

Actually, I like Gina. Haywire is awesome!

But Gal Gadot was the perfect choice for this role. And that's all there is to it.

amazing how she acquired an Israeli accent as she grew up...was that part of her training??..no one else on the amazon island has one..

I finally had a moment last night to start reading the art book for Man of Steel. It's really interesting. I'm going to go through these in order. When I was cleaning my bookshelf yesterday, my Suicide Squad one had fallen open. I took a few minutes and skimmed it, and that one is really interesting with the dossiers and other extra artifacts from that film. That'll be a fun read.
