That black and white photo that's shown in the film, and in Batman v Superman, can you buy it anywhere as a print? Would love to have a copy of it. Can't seem to find it for sale anywhere unfortunately :-/

Yeah, that's a good question. Would love a copy myself.

I printed one myself and framed it.

As far as ranking the DCEU so far: MoS > BvS > WW > ... > SS
I didn't mind the framing segments, as I do like the connection to BvS. But I agree with your overall assessment. First 2/3 were pretty solid, but I found the final act significantly lacking. I thought they really blundered with their approach and take on the villain, and their decision to go for a twist at the end undermined their ability to develop the antagonists during the body of the movie.

I've got BvS at the type, then MoS, then WW. SS is also at the bottom for me, though I don't know that I'd say it's far below. Yeah, definitely had problems and various elements were at odds with each other. But, I did find it entertaining and did enjoy the connections to the larger DCEU.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the DC run thus far.

The art book comes with a cool large size negative of it in the back

That's cool - I wonder if they'll get around to selling it on its own too? I'm sure they'd shift a few copies. I like the look of that book, £30 though 😨

I got the Batman v Superman art book for almost half the retail price at MCM London Comic Con last year so if you are attending any conventions keep a look out for the Wonder Woman book; you may snag a bargain.

Main issues were with the length of the movie, the unnecessary framing device, and some really rough CG (sadly evident almost anytime Wonder Woman does something Wonderful). I get the Cap 1 comparisons but this honestly felt more like Thor, insofar as it's about a prince(ss) from a magical fantasy land who comes to Earth and is a fish out of water helping their new human love solve a big, big problem. Gadot is great, Pine even better, nicely cast and solidly directed. Just didn't do anything OMG for me but I liked it. 3 out of 4.

I saw it and i had the same feeling. While i love Gal Gadot and she makes a good job, i think the movie is important because it's a bit feminist and represents empowerment for women on the big screen. It's a big deal, but also the movie itself is just average. Some of the parts i cringe, like she was fighting and she was always beautiful and kind of ready for a fashion runway, hell, there wasn't even blood or dirt on her face. From a aesthetic point of view it works, but it's kind of silly.

I don't think that's a fair argument, really. It's not like Batman is covered in blood after battle either. Not to mention that, as a goddess, Diana has a few advantages that mere mortals don't. And no, she doesn't really look ready for the runway here:

THIS is what a model looks like on the runway:

I just picked the first image I found. It happened to be of Candice. But yeah, probably should have used one of Gal Gadot. Oh well.

True. But she does look awesome towering over the diminutive -- yet gorgeous -- Isla Fisher here.

That still from that trailer cracks me up every time.

Right right. Though I would be more excited if Gal Gadot as Diana Prince in her goddess outfit came to shower me with kisses than Gal Gadot as Gal Gadot in her underwear.
