In town popped into a Barnes and Noble and was pleasantly surprised with how stocked they were. Wan't planning to buy movies but things just sometimes happen.

Precisely how I've explained my recent purchases to my wife...

Ubisoft wants users to destroy games they take offline.

As it turns out a lot of EULAs have that wording. But it's obviously not enforceable and may not even be legal.

Wow the Prime Day "deals" are pretty disappointing.

To me the funniest part of that is EULA "in your possession." I know only blu rays are forever but I am no where near ready for others to decide which of the things I own that I get to keep.

It will be entertaining to watch people run to services while trying to suggest the terms of service can be ignored.

The fine print doesn't have to make any sense but you can not use a service expecting to make your own rules.

I think going forward I'm going to be most grateful for the extent in which I can afford to be old fashioned.

I may be better off tying not to pay attention to them. I wanted to get to 1000 UHD this year but I have to start saving some of those for Black Friday.

So far I did take this one for $18.

So far, these deals aren't showing up on the "deals" section here at least this one isn't. I enjoy supporting this site by going to Amazon from here.

Agree, but I did add Companion, Nosferatu, and Zodiac for $52 which isn’t too bad for 4K titles with two of them being recently in theaters. I really liked Zodiac when I revisited it and it looks like they did a good job with the video on the 4K. Oh yeah, I also grabbed 4 matching kitchen mats just because my OCD said so.

Damnit, It's hard to ignore a good deal.

Thanks for the heads up

i got a couple of things like duck dodgers for 11.99 and whats new scooby doo for 12.99.

and I saw a fair number of things that would be pretty good deals if since they got discounted and maintained their buy 2 get 1 free coupon at the start of the sale though finding 3 items you wanted at a similar price is near impossible.

A few good deals, but I have a bunch of them already.

Did buy Bugs Bunny down to $25, and some Demon Slayer anime.

And hopefully I don't get tempted by anything else. Spent too much this month.

Found Alchav a good deal on a CD, DVD, Blu Ray, & UHDBD player.

https://a.co/d/27J9zhm

He's lucky because he probably doesn't own most of the UHD BDs currently on sale.

Thanks for thinking about me, but I don't buy any Discs now. Just got back from Reno, we have a friend there that has a real nice house in a High End Community. We did a lot of Wine Tasting, we even went to one of my old ski hang outs, The River Ranch!

Tomorrow morning at 7 AM I leave for my 55th medical appointment of the year.
[Show spoiler]I am having my third Nerve Conduction Study and Electromyography test; the former tests for nerve damage, or disease, while the latter tests if the muscles respond correctly to nerve signals. Lots of needles and electrodes are involved. The tests will last about an hour and they are intensely painful, like 8 out of 10 bad.

These tests are part of the requirements for my participation in the monoclonal anti-body drug trial and because I am also diagnosed with the peripheral neuropathy version of hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis due to my having small fiber neuropathy and amyloid deposition in my skin. I have amyloid all over.

Thursday I head right back to St. Louis for an echocardiogram, 6 minute walk test, a bunch of "how do I feel" surveys and finally my experimental drug infusion. It will be a 7 hour day plus 4 hours roundtrip travel time for 11 hours total.

I get no break on Friday, either, as I have an hour of cardiac rehab to do at a local hospital. Today, Tuesday, was my only day this week with no visits to a hospital.

I was really surprised with how much I liked the Watchmen series as I am not a fan of Regina King usually and it is simply a bizarre show at times.

One of my favorite movies ever is $11.99 in the Prime Days sale and not showing up in the deals section here so I thought I would mention it.

And these are not favorites in any way but worth watching and very well priced when they come to $6.66 each! ($19.99 for the set)
