All of these came today.
Took advantage of the gruv sale, and imported the Toy Story. Wasn't expecting any of these for like another week. But here we are.

Its kind of funny the prices we expect for entertainment when I had to pay 6 dollars for a tube for my bicycle today...

I have bought a ton of 4k blu rays for less then a plastic tube.

I'm guessing he meant he got tons of 4K UHDs for under $6 "each" not tons of 4k UHDs for a total of $6.

Impressive either way really ....

I recently got some new UHD BDs for $6.66 and that's about as low as I tend to get them for. (Recent Example is the Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Worlds End 3 pack for $19.99)

I initially passed on this set for some reason, but a guy who I used to work with urged me to pick it up as he said Shaun of the Dead was his favorite zombie movie ever. I thought he was crazy, but grabbed it based on that claim.

Happy I did as Shaun of the Dead was such a riot to watch and worth it by itself. Hot Fuzz was pretty damn funny too, but I lost interest with Worlds End.

Was looking forward to giving Warfare UHD a right good work out, but it hasn’t turned up. Bloody Amazon.

I need a suggestion as to what series to start next. It can be any genre, but it needs to be really good.

There's a series that started out as a "Limited Series" but due to great ratings Netflix is bringing it back for another. It's called "Untamed" starring Eric Bana and Sam Neill. It was really cool and I binged it yesterday -- it's only 6 episodes.

Yes Untamed was very good with Eric Bana and Sam Neil. Netflix has been coming out with good Movies and TV Shows, Wednesday is coming out with a new Season. Happy Gilmore 2 was fun, Adam Sandler likes to put in some interesting characters he had some Golf Pros and Actors like John Daly and Ben Stiller with good parts!

I watched tonight for the first time. It is a worthy reworking of the essentials of The Wages Of Fear; it even gives credit to the writer Georges Arnaud and the original film's director Henri-Georges Clouzot. I firmly believe that the original is the superior movie, but this one is quite good, too.

I found that the look of the film improves as it goes and particularly once it reaches the jungle climate where the core of the film occurs. I preferred the DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track, which is the original audio for Sorcerer.

Roy Scheider is the most recognizable actor in it and he kind of carries the movie or he did so for me. The other 3 main actors (the other truck drivers) do well with what they're given, but their characters are not as fully developed as were their counterparts in the orginal. I give Sorcerer about a 3.5 while I give The Wages Of Fear a 4.75.

I finally got around to watching Death Wish 3 and Death Wish 4: The Crackdown. Both first time watches from this boxset:

Death Wish 3: is it a parody? Great and brutal but I did laugh a lot through it.

Death Wish 4: I liked this one, it was much better as it was different from the previous lone vigilante themes and more of a crime thriller with a plot.

Cheesy action, violence and dialogue throughout the sequels of course and I love that in this type of action film. I saw the original on release at the cinema and remember the impact the film had on the audience, folk actually clapping and cheering - me too - as low-down punks were gunned down by just an ordinary man, It’s definitely a classic of its kind.

The boxset I have was a good deal in a sale and I wasn’t aware of a Death Wish 5 until recently and the releases I’ve seen online seem very expensive so maybe I should get this complete collection boxset:

I have yet to see Death Wish 2018 version with Bruce Willis not sure if it’s a remake but the whole Death Wish with Bronson series are very entertaining.

950 4K Blu Rays for now hoping to get to 1000 by the end of the year. It's always a great time to own movies and have a home theater.

Have a new release Blu Ray arriving today as well.

My boxset arrived two days ago, looking forward to revisiting. Part 3 was all over the place, but great fun I remember!

The only narc for me is part 2 is the cut version.

Looks like my Warfare UHD is lost. DPD suck.

You meant to say MIA, not lost.

It is damn aggravating when a package goes missing, but it may yet to turn up. The postal service here loves to send my packages on random tours around the country so often that I get postcards from them.

I've had times when Amazon doesn't know the actual status.

It's a crazy mixed up world. Hope you get your package.

It's the first of August and I have 16 medical appointments this month; I just got back from one of them, #66 for the year so far.

I wanna run away.
