Man the defense in this game is broken. I just won a ranked game 72 Eagles 49 Ravens. I threw for over 600 yards but the kicker is that it was with my back up QB Foles

I can't believe I've been using my spare time playing Madden. I'm enjoying my connected career by myself, and I have another one with 2 of my friends. I'm very tempted playing in the League.

I like all the extra stuff, more realistic. Wait until you get to the draft with Trey Wingo doing commentary on the college players...so cool.

You must be throwing the deep ball. I have issues with the LBs jumping routes like they have in previous versions and getting INTs left and right.

I'm done with my Preseason so I should start Week 1 today. I need to make my final cuts rather than having CPU do it for me. I also created my 3D game face and it doesn't look right.

The story lines on the college players will effect the playoffs. The Heisman favorite will change, players will get hurt, in trouble, etc.. And in the draft Wingo will tell those back stories. What I am talking about starts around 1 minute into this video.

Yeah i look for any 1:1 match up and its usually deep. To account for the poor AI i think they made all defensive players have great hands. Its seems more likely to get a pick then a defensive stop.

Dang Battle, I have actually had the opposite experience. I am averaging 3 picks a game, while holding my opponents to 8 points a game. There is quite a few good D plays in this game. I really like the Steelers playbook. I customized it though to add the 5-2 which is killer against the run and 2 wr sets. I am just so glad I don't have to deal with that out slant anymore. Don't have to send my DE into coverage as much.

That's amazing. We need to play a game. I certainly need some help on the defensive side of the ball. I think the problem im having and others that ive played is getting consistent pressure on the qb.

Hows the Leagues in this? I joined one just to try it out, but there was people that made their own players and crap!! Did not like that at all.

Well, since this is a Non sim league, utilize the 5-2 and I think its the 1-4-6, they have some great corner and middle blitzes. Try some blitzes with taking the guy in man coverage on the RB and blitz him on the edge or middle to free up the CB or MLB on the blitz. Works wonders for me. But if your opponent is a quick read player which means he gets rid of the ball quickly, this will not be very effective and could be a killer since the RB is open. If he is a quick read, the middle blitz is your best friend because your opponent will hardly back to far out of the pocket. Easy to bat down balls or get a hit on him. Make sure when doing this, that you place at least one or two players in QB Spy. You get picks on those quick slants or underneath routes. I think I am averaging 3-5 sacks a game.

I am just glad the deep ball is much easier to defend now that the CBs actually jump facing the ball and catch it. I never ever pick a D though without at least one safety covering deep. Having a great safety with range is a must in this game. Adrian Wilson, Polamalu, Reed ( a s8 beast), Laron Landry, Huff, Branch are all great!!!

I am in week 9 in my offline CC as coach of the Bucs. I have the #1 defense, #32 offense.

Yeah, I got bored on the Offline CC after week 3. All Madden just seems way too easy!! I haven't messed with the sliders or anything though.

O, I am still working on but still doing okay. I think I am averaging 30 points a game online. I love the running now because if you hit that hole, and your Lineman is in the way, your RB stumbles or falls. Love the realness!! Last year players would run right through thier lineman without slowing down. Draws are not as effective as they where last year because its more real. You got to maneuver through your lineman.

The second Madden NFL 13 roster update will be available for download on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on Saturday morning. The update will reflect the final 53 man rosters of all 32 NFL teams. Details regarding the update will be available Friday morning.

The initial 75 man preseason rosters that were released with Madden NFL 13 will continue to be available for offline and online Connected Careers so that fans who want to manage the final roster of their team can do so. Final 53 man rosters will also be made available early next week for offline and online Connected Careers giving users the choice to use either roster when starting their Connected Careers experience.

In essence, CC rosters out next week. Play now roster update out Sat. morning.
