Yea I think I'm just going to keep the Amazon pre-order until we find out what it is. The lowest it got was $30.48

I have a hard time believing people are going to be getting the 3D for 20 though if people are thinking that. I know the pre-order card says 3D combo at the top but the fine print says you're paying 19.99 towards any copy and they basically treat it as a discount as they say further down on the card. I'd imagine you'd have to pay the difference when you pick it up.

It looks like the official release date is going to be October 20th At least that's the date it listed on the preorder card that I purchased for the movie at Best Buy last night

That was my big fear.

I have exactly one "round tin" (the Batman '89 LE soundtrack) and over the years it's been such a nuisance. I've been dusting that damn thing for 25 years because it fits into nothing, LOL. I have no desire for another.

That said, I'm wondering if this is going to be the same at Amazon.US, only because it's the only version they are offering right now. So if it is what Amazon has, I guess I'll have no choice but to go somewhere else to get it if I don't want it.

I'm going to wait it out a bit longer until we know for sure, but very much appreciate the info and heads up! (Out of "thanks" for the day but you'll be getting one tomorrow, LOL.)

Hope that's just one edition and they also have an edition of the film in regular packaging.

I preordered last week on BB.com for the $19.99 (standard blu/dvd/digital copy) now I see the limited edition packaging for $24.99. I don't want a round tin I want the standard blu ray combo case. I got an e-mail today about my preorder and the release day is Tuesday October 20th. The cinema now code for the digital copy will be e-mailed 1week prior for viewing early.

Just take it back in store after you get it and trade it for the regular.
