Yeah thought I'd better mention I had multiple copies, Lol, as I knew what the first response would of been.

If I had never seen that Youtube video I would not of been bothered, but now I know it was a lucky dip due to Sony being cheap my OCD is going into overdrive.

You'd better buy another copy of the steelbooks, just to be on the safe side. You might get lucky with GBII!

Complete with Murray pointedly sniffing the air in the background.

Well, there's another thing I can add to the list of reasons I don't watch unboxing videos.

Both my Steelbook releases have the old bog standard artwork instead of the new artwork.

Personally as a collector I have about 8 - 10 versions of the Ghostbusters Blu-Ray from the first 2009 release to the latest 2016 releases from both the UK and USA.

It looks like as with the Paramount Back To The Future release Sony have thrown in the old Blu-Ray discs instead of the new ones with new artwork on the discs.

Check out this Youtube video below of an unboxing which features the new disc in the Ghostbusters release and the old disc in the Ghostbusters II release.

Something similar happened with my 4k GBII. They included the old disc instead of the newer disc for the regular Blu-Ray disc. I ended up going to ebay to rectify that.

While I don't really care for the artwork on the Steelbooks (and therefore don't plan to get them), IMO it's even worse in those instances, since clearly they created new, unique on disc artwork to match the cases.

I know, I've been saying the same thing, what they mean is it's the previous disc art instead of being revised into that bland UHD art (like all the other BD pack-ins have been so far on Sony UHD Blu-rays).

What kind of display are you looking on? You need a QuadHD or better (4K).

The UHD image seems to have a slight greenish tinge to it. Certain details are a tad sharper without looking artificially enhanced.

It's also "cleaner" - not in a degrained way but a lack of compression noise.

Aye, the grain is tighter and more refined which is what (to my eyes at least) vindicates my position of the UHD showing "more grain". The BD loses some of it to the compression which gives the impression in motion that the grain is lessened a tad on the Blu-ray (you can see some macroblocking here and there, it's not overt artefacting but simply the very limits of AVC's block structure as it tries to cope, and the 4K blow-up may not help), whereas the UHD resolves it much more keenly and consistently.
