I think the new judges are doing good enough jobs, I want to see how they progress. Would have been nice to have them two with Randy and Simon. The show is automatically worse when Mr. T-Shirt isn't there.

I liked Ellen last year. Thought it was extremely funny when she said, "Yes I have" after somebody got finished singing "Have you ever loved a woman" - that may not be the official title of the song but I really don't care. Nearly fell out of my seat laughing when she said that.

So far I like the judges. Just wish they had better people to be judging. May not watch any further into the season after the auditions if they don't find some better talent.

Good episodes this past week. I like the judges a lot. Steven Tyler is the man, while J-Lo is better than expected. Much better than Kara & that terrible Ellen. There is also some great talent so far as well. I think the show will do just fine without Simon. The story about that kid who was engaged and then his girl got into a accident was very sad and man how awesome was that he stood by her. Very touching. Also liked the end of the wednesday's show with the chick singing Tyler's song with Tyler singing certain parts. Awesome. Got Em!!

The judges (Tyler ) , the horrible people and the laughs are still the only reason to watch this year after 4 episodes as far as I'm concerned. The best person that they've shown so far was just "good".

I wish Simon was there with Tyler still

I have to disagree man. There has been some very good auditions man. Well get a better clue on the talent after auditions of course when all the weak singers are weeded out but I seen some pretty good people so far. I think the talent this year will be better than last year also although I did like 3 people or so from last year very much. Got Em!!

Not liking this season. The judges put a lot of fun and good criticism into the show but I get none of that from Jennifer Lopez or Tyler. They should've hired someone like Simon, a know-it-all guy with connections in the business or someone like that.

lol at them putting Adam Lambert into the new opening credits. Kris and Lee whatstherenames are there too right?

I'm liking that Paul McDonald guy. He's got a nice, unique tone. Early favorite for me. We'll see in the Hollywood rounds how he holds up.

Show is much better with Steven and JLo. They needed to mix it up like this. I cannot believe how many outstanding 15 year olds there have been thus far! They have taken over the show thus far.

Watched a full episode of the auditions in SF last night (thank God for TiVo). Saw a few really good contestants last night and look forward to the Hollywood round tonight. Steven Tyler is hilarious and seems to be having a blast especially with the ladies! He got his eye on that Columbian chick last night (she's hot!) and was praising her to high heavens! I'm sure we'll see more of her. The guy who auditioned last night wearing a Transformers outfit really cracked me up! It was cool though-- I'd wear one of those for Halloween!

Dude Ellen and Kara were both jokes as judges so that was a good thing that they left. Tyler and J-Lo are both tons better. They do also offer criticism when its due, they just arent as rude as Simon is when given. I think the season is great so far. Got Em!!

I still not sold on the new judges yet but Tyler and Jlo do a way better job than Randy..In the pass show's you get some back story on some of the favorite contestant but this season its getting annoying, they keep showing the back story over and over again.

I agree. I personally would prefer more singing than backstory. Last night, for example, they only showed about 20 singers out of the 300+ contestants that made it to Hollywood. They could have easily made it a 2-hour episode last night. They didn't even show my favorites from the SF audition that I saw on Wednesday singing in Hollywood; they just mentioned that they made the cut. It's ridiculous. And they spent ten minutes on a girl last night (the one who packed 11 baggages to Hollywood) only to see her not making the cut; I thought she had a very good voice. Also, the boyfriend of one of the couple who was cut short singing his song and didn't make the cut with his girlfriend and had to beg the judges to let him sing some more but was turned down. As always, the show thrives on drama making contestants look bad and desperate as they showed a preview of next week's group round.

I only caught bits and pieces of the show last night, did the Seth Rogan looking guy make it through? I liked his style.

I liked the girl from the night before as well, the one with the different voice who sang then they asked her to play some of her guitar and called her old school.

Last night's episode was 99% a waste of an hour of my life. I agree with you two guys, it was ridiculous...plus we didn't get to see anyone we DIDN'T see during the auditions...as far as I remember.

I still think there aren't that many worth watching for. That Paris girl is by far the best they've shown imo.

Nice, wish I would have caught that guys performance. I would like to see someone win who "doesn't fit the mold". We have enough Miley Cyrus and Justin Biebers in the world.
