I can't wait for the day when phone companies get to a stage where the line rental is reduced to compensate the fact that we don't need a land line anymore as we all have mobiles and the only reason we have the line is due to the Internet connection.
As for mobile companies,I can't wait for the day they include 0845 and 0871 numbers as part of your minutes allowance as opposed to charging 50p a minute.
If you have a power cut in your area and need to contact the Electric company,if your phone has an answering machine built in the whole phone won't work due to the fact it needs power so you have to call the Electric company on their 0845 number at 50p a minute on your mobile.
