The entire movie theater noticed it and talked about it instead of listening to the characters' dialogue, that's how bad it was.

If viewers can notice it on their first viewing, it just goes to show that the filmmakers weren't paying attention at all to their own bloody movie.

The entire audience noticed it, really? I mean, I haven't seen the movie, maybe it is that obvious, but it's interesting I haven't seen anyone else mention it.

Exactly! People should go to a Jurassic Park movie for the dinosaurs and the story, not look out for advertisements. The product placements did not bother me much. The story, the characters (both humans and dinosaurs) had me enthralled till the end.

They also established in the first film that the raptors bond with the first creature they come in contact with, which is apparently what Owen has done. And they were still vicious killing machines. It's not like Owen was safe around them.

No one in my theater said anything if they noticed. No one with me even noticed because we were immersing ourselves in the film instead of looking for things to hate and nitpicking.

I did not want to spoil that for the folks here who haven't seen it yet. But I hope she finds and is accepted by the wild Raptors from the first film.

- 2K DCP only - even though this movie was shot in 35mm and select scenes in 65mm - not that the movie looks bad, but it should have gone out in 4K at least for the non-3D presentations (3D is 2K 'only') - some long shots in the IMAX-laser version I saw looked, er... not sharp.

I guess they spent a lot more on the budget due to the script revision and hence could not spend on these extra technical ornamentations because they kinda knew that people will flock to the theatres to see the T-Rex anyway!

This reminds me of an anecdote from Sherlock Holmes. Holmes once asked Watson how many times he had climbed up and down their staircase. Watson said thousands of times. Holmes asked Watson if he knew how many steps were in the staircase. Watson said he didn't know.

(not in those exact words. In the first movie it mentions that Raptors are smarter then primates, and we can train them.

Once again, if you were paying THAT much attention to the shirt he's wearing, you're paying attention to the wrong things. You were clearly bored and looking for something to distract yourself. It'd be more honest if you just admitted it.

That's correct, there aren't even any Pteranodons in the novel.
