Can you believe that the show has never been on in New Zealand. All my friends ask what the hell is that (I have the models). The only way I can watch is wait for the blu releases. So I'm always a season behind. So jealous.

I had to work all weekend, but I'm off today! Unfortunately it will be my bedtime in about 4 hours. I'm more used to working afternoons/early evenings, but at the job I have now, I usually work 6am-3pm, so I'm usually in bed by 9pm-5am. Going to bed and getting up so early is really not my style at all, but the job is tolerable.

From reviews I've read on here, Steve Hoffman forums, and Quadraphonic Quad forums, the 5.1 lossless mix is supposed to be pretty amazing.

Holy Mother of Jah! I just finished listening to the BMW BD. One of the best 2 channel original classic albums repurposed to 5.1 mixes that I've ever heard in my life!

Everything is so pristine and clear with great seperation and LFE. The surrounds have a lot of individual discrete sounds on each side, and while it's incredibly immersive, it doesn't sound gimmicky or out of place at all, it just sounds like you're sitting in the studio in the middle of them.

It's nice to have some time to just relax, watch some great films and have some snacks.

I remember reading in your thread a while back that you might be interested in getting the Indiana Jones set on BD. I would personally highly recommend doing so. I really like all four films very much and all four of them also have great audio and video.

Out of all of the blu-rays in my collection, Raiders of the Lost Ark has the most film-like transfer I have ever seen. When I watch it projected in my HT room on my 130" screen, I swear it's like I'm watching a real film projector. Plus they're just a whole helluva lot of fun.
