I tried to re-join MP but it won't let me. Even though I was a member in 2016, it tells me that I need to use a completely different email address and get a new card. Anyone have experience re-joining?

Friday: American Animals
Saturday: Ocean's 8
Sunday AM: First Reformed
Sunday PM: Hotel Artemis

Enjoyed all 4 films, to varying degrees.
I actually just did 4 straight days of Movie Pass screenings (the second longest streak after I did give straight back in October) and also worked a two film day in yesterday. I saw Won't You Be My Neighbor on Saturday, American Animals on Sunday, Mary Shelley yesterday (did the last show of the day at 9:30 PM as a friend and I went to free screening of Tag earlier), and Hotel Artemis tonight.

But I won't be using it for a couple weeks as I'm paying out of pocket to do a 3D showing of Incredibles 2 on Thursday, and then I'll be in England for a week so obviously no go then (plan on seeing Jurassic World at Leiscester Square, but that might just be it).

Checked the app earlier and the Fathom screening of Scarface is showing up and it looks like it can be used. Does it vary depending on what they're running?

Since I got my MoviePass account on March 24 for $105 and change, I have been to see 11 movies that would have cost me at least $12 apiece. I'm not even three full months into my yearly membership yet, and it's already more than paid for itself.

I hope that MoviePass doesn't go belly up before March 2019, because it'll come in particularly handy around Academy Awards season, when there are always a bunch of movies that I wouldn't necessarily pay to see, but feel somewhat obligated to see just because they were nominated for Best Picture.

Had my first experience yesterday with the whole new "taking a picture of the stub" policy. Are we supposed to get any kind of confirmation that our picture was received and approved? I took the picture and sent it, but I don't think I got anything afterwards.

Are you on iOS or Android?

In iOS, once the picture was submitted, a box pops up saying "Your ticket stub was submitted successfully."

For those of us that signed up in August last year, we were guaranteed 1 year at the $9.95 rate. Anybody have any idea what's going to happen once that year passes? Will it stay $9.95/month, or will they change the price?

Ah thanks. I'm on iOS, I guess I just wasn't paying attention. The app does show Ocean's 8 in my history and that I've already seen this title, so it must've gone through.

Considering how often they change their policies, I can guarantee you that even MoviePass doesn't know what will happen in August.

Let me consult my exclusive MoviePass informant:

lol does the "no movie more than once" rule only apply to certain things or is the app just as terrible as always? Literally every movie I've seen before allows me to check in again except for Infinity War

In my case I can't do it because it says something like you have already seen this movie.

Just terrible.

All the movies I have seen at a Marcus Theatre shows "You've already seen this movie". Now if I look at the local AMC or the Cinemark, they're not greyed out anymore.

Yeah Infinity War is the only movie of mine now that says that. Others DID say it at some point but have all reverted for some reason and now allow me to check in, if I wanted to.

Also doing the annoying thing again where a regular screening I'm going to tonight is at the same time as a DBOX screening so the regular showtime is grayed out too. Very good app

Piece of **** broken app

If you're getting the check-in error, you can search the movie itself and then check into it on that page until they fix the app.

Of course for me, with that stupid D-Box error I've mentioned plenty of times, searching for the movie does not yield that showtime that I wanted to go to and you can't search for Unlisted Showtime lol. So I drove 20 minutes, sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes waiting until the last possible moment for them to fix their app (an official rep is posting on reddit and gave an ETA of 5:37, then 5:45, then 6, and by 6:15 it still was broken), and had to just go home anyway. Good use of the evening

I get that sometimes stuff breaks and that's fine but it's extra frustrating that I couldn't even get around it like everyone else because of an entirely unrelated stupid error that they won't fix

Family Plan announced:
https://amp.cinemablend.com/news/243...-a-family-plan

Not sure that it really is adding much. Sounds like you can have one account buy tickets for more than one account at a time.
