Pawn Shop
I may have a problem, I started seriously buying Blu-rays in November of last year, and according to my Blu-ray.com collection the above was my 500th Blu-ray
I was hoping to get something special for #500, and I suppose I kind of did, as Prometheus was actually the first movie I ever bought on Blu-ray. I got it the night after I got my XBOX One at Walmart for $4.96. Of course even after buying my first BD it took me awhile before I realized that BDs were worth the extra cost over DVDs.
Anyways, I picked up the 3D combo for Prometheus (at a pawn shop obviously) on my way to Best Buy. It was only $5.99, and it came with the slipcover in decent condition. I'm really looking forward to watching all the special features, as the first copy I bought was the Walmart exclusive "movie only" edition

I got this after leaving the pawn shop, and it was priced at $5.49, but it was 50% off because of the going out of business sale. So I got it for $2.99 with tax
I also grabbed a CD, the soundtrack for Superman Returns
I didn't really need it, and I'm pretty sure this is the first CD I've purchased in like 10 years, but it was only $1.25 after the 50% discount so I couldn't resist (not to mention it was marked as used, but it was brand new).
Best Buy
Well I just couldn't help myself, this is the third time I've purchased over $50 in TV Seasons on BD at Best Buy (for the free $10 Gift Card) in the past couple of weeks. It's a bit of a long story, so I will put it in spoiler tags for those who are curious...
[Show spoiler]I went to the 2nd Best Buy in my city, which I hadn't been to in awhile, just to pick up Supernatural Season 10, as the Best Buy I was at on Tuesday didn't have it in good condition. Then when I got there I found near mint copies of both Supernatural Seasons 1 & 10, and they were $9.99 & $14.99. That put me halfway to $50, so I decided I should find something to get me the rest of the way for the free $10 Gift Card 
Unfortunately they didn't really have any others that I wanted, at least not at the right price. So when I saw that they still had a few of the exclusives for The Walking Dead Season 6 I decided I would just get it, even though I already bought/have it, as I figured it would be the easiest to trade/sell 
Naturally I used the $10 gift card from my $50+ purchase on Tuesday, so instead of $59.75 I only paid $49.75 with tax 
Oh and I got another $10 Gift Card obviously, which I'm seriously considering using to buy another $50 in TV seasons on Tuesday, as I really want to get Arrow Season 4 anyways. It seems like it's going to be $35-40 on release day, so I'd only need to spend another $10-$15 to get yet another free $10 Gift Card. Then I could use that new gift card to do the exact same thing next Tuesday, for The Flash Season 2 
Anyways, I figure that once I sell my doubles of Legends of Tomorrow & the TWD S6 Exclusive, factor in all the free gift cards, and sell all the Digital HD codes, then I will have brought down my price paid quite a bit on each of the new releases. On top of all that these purchases have already earned me enough points for a (pending) $5 RZ Certificate, and by the time I review each BD I will have enough points to get another $5 RZ Certificate. So I'm pretty confident I'll be more than happy with all these purchases, even if/when I see them all drop to $15-$25 for Black Friday in a few months
At least that's how I justified it all in my mind
