Very exciting news. Can't wait to upgrade to this upcoming set, since my "Complete Collection" boxset feels so... incomplete (without most of the extras). Now if you all would just hurry up and snatch up the remaining 31-disc sets so we can get the aforementioned "less robust" set moving forward, I'd be most appreciative...

Why didn't you get it from bn.com few days ago for 50% off plus 15% or 20% off coupon on top of it?

Any one knows why the "50 Greatest Harry Potter Moments" on TV was 28 minutes longer than the one in Wizard's Collection and they still call the one on Blu-ray Definitive Version?

I was going to do that but I wasn't on there mailing list so I didnt get the 15% off. I tried talking to someone to see if I could be added to the mailing list and be given a coupon, but they said no. The next day it was back to almost full retail price . Im thinking Amazon will have a sale at some point around the same price, plus there wouldnt be tax. Been checking in on the set everyday to make sure it doesnt sell out before I buy one. Hopefully my patience pays off

I got a few codes by asking around here. Even better, hope they release a set with just the discs.

I got mine in the mail last Thursday from B&N. My wife and I tried watching them this weekend but ran into a problem.

On The Chamber of Secrets blu-ray disc during Chapter 20, it freezes. We can't get past it. I checked the disc and it looks perfect. Anyone else have this problem? What can I do about it. I don't want to have to return and rebuy an entire new set. If I contact the manufacturer, can they send me a replacement disc?

If anyone has an answer, please PM me.

wow I have heard a lot of people having problems with there discs working properly with this set. I cant believe they haven't had a recall or something.

From what I've read, Warner is usually pretty good about sending out replacement/missing discs so you should definitely call them up and see what they say.

There are two discs of special features - the first disc is the Ultimate Edition bonus disc (on Blu-Ray if you buy the Blu-Ray sets), and the second is just the bonus special features disc from the earlier home video releases (on DVD).

If this would have been a more affordable price than I would have gladly bought this but after seeing the $355 price tag attached to it I decided to go a cheaper route and simply buy the Ultimate Editions. Judging by the review I read it doesn't sound like there is much difference between getting them and buying this as they both hold the same discs.

If your a huge potter fan I'd say yeah.$199 ain't a bad price considering on amazon it's $250

Its actually $350 on amazon and hasn't really gone down from there. I say $199 is an excellent price. Problem is there are a lot of complaints about many of the discs not working properly.

This is why I imported one from amazon.co.uk for my father as an x-mas gift. $189 shipped. Sure, he can't watch the DVDs, but there's not much on them worth watching, anyway.

Not that this would necessarily be a deal-breaker for you, but the standalone UEs of DH 1 & 2 do not have the 3D versions.

Some sets (UK, Canada and Australia) had incorrect discs. WB sent out replacements to affected people and I think that the retail sets were updated with the correct discs. I'm not sure if there were any issues with the US set, at least I don't remember hearing of any.

I'm halfway through the movies (not including the special features and DVDs) and so far the only problem I've encountered is that the second movie (CoS) freezes during chapter 20. I'm waiting until i've had time to watch them all before I submit a request for a disc replacement.

My recent bn.com order came with 3 problems.
1. It's missing the first disc, Harry Potter Year 1 Blu-ray.
2. The cloth map is extremely blurry to a point that none of the text is readable. Never seem people reported this problem before. I've compared with people's video online and can confirm that mine is not normal.
3. The plastic holder from one drawer is cracked severely.

So I suggest people check their set thoroughly as it's an expensive set.
Unfortunately, bn.com's return UPS shipping label only covers up to 2 lb and this shipment is 24 lbs. I was told that I need to fax the receipt of the difference I pay at UPS and get reimbursement....
