terrible, I picked it up already, but dont have access to it at the moment, so I wasnt able to check.
and yes the only reason I got it was for double team to be honest.

ill need to purchase maximum risk separately then.

I just wish the other 5 disc set would go down in price, with the exchange right now USD-CAD , its really expensive (still). Ive been keeping my eye on it for quite some time.

I just got Sudden Death and Hard to Kill separately. I think the rest are also available separately, if not here then in the UK, so if I ever want them I can do that.

Latest Van Damme acquisition on Blu is the awesome Hard Target. In the $7.88 Walmart bin of all places, so stoked to find it.

Having seen Hard-Boiled and The Killer, I was very excited for this movie when it came out in 93. And it didn't disappoint. Personally, my favorite American-made John Woo flick. Van Damme sporting a mullet should've been ridiculous, but Woo somehow managed to make him look pretty much the coolest he's ever looked. Bloodsport made Van Damme a B-list action star, Hard Target made him an A-list action star.

Here's my latest additions:

Welcome to the Jungle was supposed to be the US version but I was instead sent the Canadian version. Hoping to get that rectified, especially since it doesn't come with a UV copy like the US version does.

Where can I get "Knock Off". Wasn't there someone mentioning this being part of the 5-disc set? The only movie I find in there is "Double Team"?

Another question:

Regarding the "5-Movie Action Pack": Are the titles in there (Hard Target, Quest, Street Fighter, Sudden Death) the same discs as the individual US releases?

If yes, then I guess the only reason to get this 5-pack is because of Lionheart (no individual US release exists for that one, except for a German release which apparently has a very bad PQ).

Knock Off was originally supposed to be in the 5 movie set but was replaced by Double Team at the last minute

Yes the discs are the same as the individual releases. Lionheart is indeed the only one not available separately. (although it's also out in France under the name Full Contact and comes with Black Eagle as well. I have no idea on the quality of that release.)

Yes, those 4 titles are identical to the individual US releases and then of course Lionheart is only available in the US via the 5-pack. Assuming you don't have the individual releases then getting the 5-pack makes sense since you're not losing anything, but if you already have them you have to decide how important Lionheart is to you to buy the 5-pack.

The BDs of John Hyams' two Universal Soldier flicks, Regeneration and Day of Reckoning, are well worth the time of any JCVD fan. The presentations are good, but, more importantly, they are two of the better filmed action movies of the last decade. No exaggeration. Beautiful stuff.

Day of Reckoning needs a seizure warning though for that one scene

Speaking of Lionheart: In the "international comparison" thread it says the US version has the best PQ, and that the German edition has the Director's Cut with DNR applied. What is the consesus here? Take the US version with the Theatrical Cut or go with the German version and the Extended Cut?

Got it. This completes all of the Van Damme movies I want to own on blu (except for No Retreat No Surrender U.S. cut, which is coming soon).

Is the version of Hard Target in this set unedited like the UK version?
