Yeah I dunno if that would work, those two are the biggest reason MIB took off in the first place. I'd really be surprised if they made a true MIB 4, or rebooted it with a new cast. Pretty sure that franchise is dead unless they make another animated series.

They'd need either a really strong new cast or Josh Brolin as Young Agent K to return with a new character as his partner.

Whatever it is I'm just glad that the reboot won't have Spielberg directing. It will be this whole new franchise for the new generations, coming out every year like junk food. While we have the Spielberg/Ford series being referred to as "The Original Classics".

I guess you're not including Crystal Skull as an 'Original Classic' somehow.

I might be pissing off the internet, but Crystal Skull is a damn fun movie. It has some issues, and serious issues at that, but it's still a good time.

I agree, remove the stupid gophers and shia-lebuff swinging in the trees (not to mention he was dress as if he came from a gay night club in the first scenes)

And it actually a pretty decent entry, no worse than Temple of doom.

Yup. Probably have typed this 100 times before, but get rid of the gophers, the fridge gag, and the Tarzan bit and I'd have no major issues with it. Still a really fun movie and a solid fourth entry. Better yet, it actually provides an ending for the series, which is why I'm trepidatious about the new one.

I like Crystal Skull, I don't think it's as good as the original three (which I like in release order), but it's still good.

Why do you think that? It's still a Spielberg/Ford film, the fifth one (which will be made first before the reboot) will also be part of "The Original Classics" too. I love all the sequels equally, and Raiders is just almost perfect for me.

Screw old man Indy. I want another old man. Give me Madmartigan!!

And if ever there was a time to reboot, retell, or rewrite something...take it out on these books!

A proper Willow series would be fantastic. The original is great fun. They could do a Game of Thrones style series aimed at the family.

Not for me, and many others. Even critics like it, I don't mean RT (although still certified fresh at 77%) but many of them rate it very high including Leaonard Maltin.

Yeah, I have a love/hate relationship with it. It definitely has a lot of problems (in addition to those that you listed, I also just generally have issues with the idea of aliens in an Indy film... plus the ending didn't make a whole lot of sense IMO), but in many respects it is fun.

I even enjoyed the controversial "nuke the fridge" scene. Sure, it's over the top, but so is the idea that Indy's whip will always cling to whatever he swings it at (allowing him to use it to swing across things) exactly when he wants it to, and release when he wants it to.

It doesn't have the best reputation, but I would argue it to be far better than Ghostbusters 2016.

I really enjoyed KotCS. For me, it ranks better than ToD, which falls in last place. I'm also looking forward to a reboot, with or without Ford. What a rich character who can be embodied by so many different talented actors.

I like that people are finally working past the initial disappointment and shock and accepting KotCS for what it is. A flawed but still fun movie. The worst in the series but still better than a lot of other schlock. Happy to see it.

Now let's do that with Alien 3.

Oh yeah kotcs is the worst of the series still it has it's moments and is still fun to watch.

Alien 3 is a good film I also enjoyed Alien: Resurrection a lot as well. Both are better then the Alien vs Predator films.
