I personally hate those (girls, mostly) who cry on tv how their life has been horrible etc and think that based on that and average singing capabilities should automatically guarantee a place on the next phase. And then they get much more screen time than those really talented ones. Tyler and Lopez are great I just wish they'd throw Jackson the hell out of there. I mean how can you take him seriously when he calls every girl a man.

I was hoping to see Alice Cooper as one of the judges but oh well .

My girl Paris dropped the ball big tonight
Based on just tonight she deserved to go....but I wish they had kept her around based on the previous performances


A few of the people they showed tonight that we haven't seen before did good, but still no one stand out and also a LOT of crap.

I liked that girl that went first the most tonight.


Also....the editing is still atrocious this season. So much wasted time.

Hhahahahhahah I mentioned when Paris got cut to my girl that u loved her the most and I started cracking up and told her I was gonna get on u about it lol. I told u she wasnt that good. There are a lot of great singers in the competition and to me the talent is easily better than last year.

Some performances that stood out were the five young kids who's parents were there. They nailed that Queen song and had a great performance and made their moms look very good. The chick that singed to Tyler is always great and I think she will go far. There were a few others also. Looking forward to tonight. Got Em!!

That doesn't mean she's not the best, it just means the judges got it wrong!


I thought they made some bad calls last night for sure; that blonde girl who's boyfriend went home last week was horrible last night. And a few others that should NOT have gone through and some that should have went through (but probably would have been cut next time) went home last night.

Yea I agree about that blonde chick. The judges dont have perfect ears either so Im sure a few mistakes were made but judging from lastnight Paris wasnt one of them haha. Yo those 5 kids tore it up and easily had the best performance and got a standing ovation from the judges. I dont have a fav yet but im sure we both will soon...........well u already did but she's gone home already hahahaahahah. Got Em!!

Yea based on just last night she definitely dropped the ball, but I was hoping they'd put her through because they knew she was better than that
They even said they put someone else through because of that.

I don't remember the name of that girl who went first but she was good I thought.

Hopefully there's a better person for me to pick as my favorite than Lee from last year. I haven't listened to his stuff and probably won't but I liked him the most on the show

Yea Crystal's album is out selling Lee's album right now. I dont think they shouldve put that chubby young kid through. He just isnt right for that show and I think it will overwelm soon if it hasnt already. He seems like a good kid though. Got Em!!

Yo lastnight really showed some great talent. I think this season is gonna be nice. The chick who loves Tyler is very good, that black guy was awesome and blew me and everyone else away. That Philippino chick was great and so on. The funny thing is one of my early favorites from the opening auditions they never showed again on either day this week but he made it anyway. Yep...have to agree with you last night did show some good talent but who the hell put the shows together...all hr Seacrest was talking about a surprise announcement to the remaining contestant but nothing at the ending, you would think if its such a big surprise you would like to let your viewers see there reaction when they were told.I hate when they show you stuff before the break and they never do when they return.

I thought the surprise was that there was 2 groups of people making it to the finals and not just the one room? I know not a very good surprise... unless you were in that last room.

All I could think of after that guy sang and came out to his family and broke down balling was Michael Duncan in The Green Mile. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the dude crying as he put a lot of emotion into that song.

Yea man I have to agree dude laid it all on the line singing that song. He may have sung it better than the original artist. It was very emotional for him. He also said he never crys but man when u are in a position like that I can understand it. Its a dream on the line. I cant believe they put that very emotional chick through who was singing to her boyfriend and kept messing up. I mean she is good but not that good to get a pass like that. Got Em!!

Yep it is a good thing to be on the judges good side lol. Im satisfied with the overall selections so far. Next week we will really see whats up though. Got Em!!

I watched part of the show last night for the first time this season. The dude with the base was pretty good. Shocked the heck out of me. Did he make it through the cuts?

That guy has some serious musical talent. He might not be the best pure singer in the group this year, but he is by far one of the most original and musically inclined contestants I have EVER seen.
