That's probably my sweet spot also.

I'm also really into Jeff Beck, King Crimson, Rush, and lots of other crazy stuff.

Oh my God, that's freakin' awesome! I'd love to get a poster of that. Hope you're doing well. I've been pretty busy working lately.

It's here if you want it Joe. >Link< You can even get it on a t-shirt.

Well this week both my projector and Darbee died during the cable organizing but im good considering. Repair of the JVC properly will be expensive but my Darbee will get fixed without much expense from me. Both are out of warranty.

What's hoppin', Frogger?

How're tricks in Joe's Garage?

I watched a rare double feature last night.

The new X-Men movie. Tyrion is the bad guy. Lol.

The Stuff. A horror movie from 1985. Has a great cast. Michael Moriarty, Garrett Morris, Paul Sorvino and Danny Aiello. It even has a cameo by Abe Vigoda and the Wendy's lady "where's the Stuff!? Classic. I love the 80's.

I just blind-bought the new X-Men. I really loved it, but if you start paying too much attention, there's a lot of inconsistencies with the other movies, but if you can forget the other films, it's a helluva lot of fun.

I also love the 80's. The Thing, American Werewolf in London, I also just watched E.T. for the first time in a couple of decades and Vacation, Commando, etc. I've been on a big 80's kick here lately, and also been on beer and weed tonight!

Don't let Wabo fool you. He knows just enough about Zappa from his old friends trying to help him understand his genius, yet just doesn't "get it" just enough to be dangerous. He's knowledgeable enough about Zappa to make very specific references, but make no mistake; he cares less for him.

You might have a few hicups here and there, but you are are an awesome guy with an awesome A/V setup my friend. While you're doing without your JVC baby, you might wat to give 5.1 hi-def audio another thought. There's some really great studio quality surround music out there that goes way beyond a mere surround concert disc.

I can see where Zappa is an acquired taste, but being a guitar player AND having a totally absurd irreverent sense of humor myself...... Zappa was a natural for me

To me, Zappa and Jeff Beck are the best. I'm a drummer for the last 34 years since I was about 10, but my biggest heros are Zappa and Beck. Classic SNL is now in effect.
