Bought 09/05/2016
Hastings ![]() ![]() ![]() The Brave One - $2.61 The Messengers / Freedomland - $2.17 (both of these are blind buys, but at this price I couldn't pass them up) Hostage - $2.83 I really love this going out of business 60% discount on used BDs, I just wish there was more of a selection ![]() Bought 09/06/2016 Best Buy ![]() ![]() ![]() Well I once again bought $50+ in TV seasons on BD at Best Buy, and this time I used a $5 RZ Certificate on top of the last $10 Gift Card I got, so I only paid $46.91 out of pocket (instead of $61.91) for the above 3 ![]() The best part is I price matched Amazon on all 3, so here's what I got each one for (before the $5 RZ cert, $10 gift card, and tax were applied): The Flash S2 - $36.96 (instead of $37.99) Grimm S2 - $11.99 (instead of $19.99) Hannibal S2 - $8.41 (instead of $12.99) The only other experience I had with PMing at Best Buy was a week ago with Grimm S1, and it was a bit of a hassle, but I'm pretty sure that was only because it was a PM/refund. So this was basically my first time doing a price match, and it literally only took 30-45 seconds to price match all 3 of them ![]() Both Grimm S2 and Hannibal S2 were blind buys, in fact I haven't even watched a single episode of either show, but I'm fairly confident I will enjoy them. Besides I blind bought Grimm S1 last week when I got Arrow S4 ![]() ![]() I was planning for this to be the last time I bought $50+ in TV on BD during this promo at Best Buy, and I was going to use the $10 GC I got today on the Captain America: Civil War 3D Combo next week. However I'm now considering using it to get Grimm S3/S4 and Hannibal S1/S3 in the next few days, as I'd obviously get another $10 GC for buying those, which means I'd still be able to use a $10 GC on Civil War. It seems like a good idea ![]() ![]() One way or another I'm going to be taking a break from buying BDs soon, although that's going to be easier said than done with the Hastings going out of business sale going on ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Disc 1 S02E01 - S02E02 - S02E03 - S02E04 - S02E05 - Disc 2 S02E06 - S02E07 - S02E08 - S02E09 - S02E10 - S02E11 - Disc 3 S02E12 - S02E013 - S02E14 - S02E15 - S02E16 - S02E17 - "Birds of Prey" I also continued my Arrowverse rewatch ![]() I finished all the above episodes that are crossed out over the past 48 hours or so, and I'm almost finished watching Birds of Prey ![]() I can't wait to watch Arrow S4, The Flash S2, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl on Blu-ray! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I already finished Star Trek, and I'm just about finished with Star Trek: Into Darkness ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I went and saw this last Thursday, but at that time they were only showing it in regular 4K or whatever. I'm very happy that for whatever reason they are showing it in IMAX 3D again, I just wish they'd do the same for Suicide Squad, as I was too late for 3D on that one as well ![]() The best part is that because of this I remembered I have a $8 Certificate for this film, which I got when I bought the above Compendium with the first two films back in June. It expires 09/09, so I probably would've lost it if they hadn't started showing this in IMAX again. On top of that I got a second $8 certificate from a very generous member here at Blu-ray.com (thanks dazed2012!), so assuming the cashier at the theater lets me use both on one ticket I should be able to see this for only 89¢ ![]() I really enjoyed this movie the first time I watched it, so I can't wait to watch it in 3D ![]() |

I went to a different pawn shop today, picked these up for $22 total.
![]() $7.99 with a slip. It was actually brand new factory sealed. But had the UV code taken out with a slit on the side. ![]() $4.99 with a slip, and both discs. Yet no UV code. ![]() $2.99 with no slip, DVD or slipcover. ![]() $2.99. It came with a Vudu code, and sold it. I basically got the film for free. ![]() $2.99 with no slip, or UV. But it had both discs. Funny enough I just bought it last week on DVD for $5. ![]() I then went over to Target and got these. ![]() $19.99. But it'll be on sale next week there for $14.99. so I'll just go in for the price adjustment then. ![]() $7.50 with slip. Overall, I'll likely go to that pawn shop instead. It had more blu rays. Which were in a glass display and had to ask to look at. They also had films like The Revenant, the Finest Hour and the recently released Ratchet and Clank movie with slip for $9.99 each. |
