Throughout the movie it sounds like the sound is crackling at some parts. Is this happening to anyone else?

Plus hating a director's work because of his or her fans is silly, I'm fairly positive on Darron Aronofsky but don't find any of his films to be exceptional. While the people constantly trying to convince me he is incredible might be mildly annoying it doesn't change my opinion any or shift my mild positive opinion to hate.

People love to do this especially with Nolan. He has so many fans like me that love his work so far and people hate it for some reason. Yes there are some obnoxious fans that go overboard and start spewing things like 'he's a master, he can do no wrong' nonsense but it seems to bother some people that others really like, admire, appreciate Nolan's work. I don't get it but I don't let it bother me either because it's not going to change my mind.

The lenticular cover is, perhaps, on of the best I've seen as it flashes all three movie covers, and the abridged book has some very nice behind the scenes pics/info from the Art & Making big book. I especially like how the discs snap in with not center spider hub! Two levers on the bottom of all 3 plastic holders eject the discs. I don't think I've ever seen this before.
All in all for £16.25($27.19) shipped I'm quite happy with it!

I only saw The Dark Knight Rises once at the theater and I totally enjoyed it but now after seeing it 2 more times on Blu I like totally love it! While it is true there is no way any additional sequel could ever have matched or trumped The Dark Knight, this one is very close to as good of a film IMO. IMO its not quite as good but dang near it, I am talking millimeters! Thank you for this gem of a movie Mr. Nolan!

Too much discussion about the movie in a thread thats about reviews of the movie? I dont get that. And, instead of spoiler tagging everything, isnt it easier for those that havent seen the film to just stay out of here or proceed at their own risk? Just saying.

If it helps people, there should be two threads for each major film now - one for those that have seen it and one for those that havent. Might not be a bad idea...????

There should be no need for spoiler tags in this thread, because this thread isn't dedicated to discussing the movie...that's why there is a movie sub-forum.
This thread is to discuss the technical merits of the blu-ray release.
Obviously people ignore/forget that, so out of respect for those that have not seen the film the site provides spoiler tags.
Instead of taking 2 seconds to use them, your idea is to have any number of people that have not seen the movie...and are curious about this release...avoid the thread. Brilliant.

I dunno - the Thread title says "review", nothing about reviewing the technical aspects. You could say thats a tad confusing. But, OK. I get the whole Movie subforum idea but I bet thats got lots of talk about video and audio quality in there. Its hard to keep them separate with so many posts and such. I still think its up to the user to decide if they want to venture into a thread about a movie they havent seen, irregardless of what the threads content is *supposed* to be. Things always get off a little bit. Its not hard to use spoiler tags but sometimes we forget or dont feel what we are saying is an actual spoiler. Its not like this film is a "Who shot JR" or "Who killed Laura Palmer" type of thing. Not quite that much of a mystery.

Nobody's asking that you spoiler tag everything - only if you're revealing plot twists or surprises. WTF is arguable about that? Someone posted what almost amounted to a review a while back and used tags to hide the "scene where Batman <hidden>appears on the ice<hidden>". Now that's obviously overkill, but hiding talking about

OK then. Going into threads with numerous posts on a movie forum regarding a film you havent seen isnt risky at all for the user and there is NO caveat emptor to play here. I left out of the apostrophes just to be a weener face. You grammar guys remind me of Rodney Dangerfields comment about sending his English teacher a love letter that she ended up correcting. It made me laugh - thanks for that.

As for the technical aspects of this film. It looks and sounds great. Just like 99% of all blu-rays played on decent quality gear. Yawn.

If you haven't seen the movie and are complaining about spoilers, I suggest you do one of 2 things...

1) Don't read posts about this movie

2) Watch the damn movie already!!!
