It looks "kinda" realistic, but I'm sure it's fake.
Thanks for the heads up on this one; but no wildlife in the outdoors being slaughtered, like deers or anything? Those sequences always bother me.

Thanks for the info on the other 2 movies. I prefer renting movies that have actors/actresses that I recognize. I try as much to avoid those low-budget, direct-to-video stuff that redbox rents.
Jigsaw is another movie that I want to rent.
No problem; Jigsaw was alright, but kind of more of the same with regard to the Saw films that preceded it; I didn't care for the way they
[Show spoiler]exposed Tobin Bell at the end.

Nope, no graphic scenes of wildlife getting killed in The Snowman. So you are safe in wanting to rent it.

Looks like Blade Runner 2049 is available at redbox. I'm going to try and rent that and IT this weekend.

since not in dvd or bluray database going to watch 9/11 got Netflix in mail today

In a story pieced together from real phone messages left to loved ones on 9/11, five people trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center's North Tower work to free themselves, with no knowledge of what's transpiring outside their little box.

Watching "The Divorcee" for the first time. I still have to get through a couple more films on the Forbidden Hollywood Vol 2. Then later in a few months, I will get Vol 3 on the strength that many of them are William Wellman directed films, who IMO is one of the most overlooked and underrated Hollywood directors.

Snowman wasn't that great, to be honest; at one point I couldn't even follow it to figure out who was stalking who, or who was investigating who. I thought it'd be better, based on the trailers.

Looking forward to Geostorm, coming out tomorrow to rent, though many reviews weren't that positive...

I also have my eye on Alien: Domicile and Beyond Skyline.

As a diehard Carpenter fan -- and a fan of Vampires ever since seeing it theatrically on opening night back in '98, the night before Halloween -- I didn't even know there was a third film in this "series;" to be honest, I never considered the Bon Jovi-esque "sequel" a proper followup to Carpenter's original, which I always felt stood alone.

There is a box set out there that features the 3 films, so that last one is officially part of the series.

It has no real connection at all with the others. They do a little homage by briefly featuring the classic way the hunters kill the vampires from the 1st film w/ the cable pulling them into the sunlight. That's it.
