Really agree with the audio/picture. Was hard to find a balance between the dialog and rest of the soundtrack. Either too loud for the bass/action or too soft for the dialog.

Video was disappointing, though it does seem to improve the latter half of the film. Beginning of the film was too dark and lacking detail in both IMAX and 35mm.

I really didn't mind it at all. Gave a bit of a new viewing experience when I watched it on TDK.

PQ wise which has the best: Batman Begins, TDK, or TDKR?

I ended up paying about $40 extra but I didn't care... It's something I needed to have. But I did see some insane prices on Amazon like $200+

Any word on the Ultimate Edition being released next year? Not sure to wait to get that of just the single movie release of TDKR (considering I already have BB and TDK)

while i thought this was a fun movie to watch, i loved hans zimmer's score.

however, nolan SUCKS at action. i mean the first fight with bane was sick but the 2nd one was ok but some of the shooting scenes were too...out of place to make it work for PG. which ruined it, personally since its pg-13 in the us. it shouldve been a hard pg-13 like 14A for canada.

if it had better realistic action sequences and more visceral then it would be my fav batman movie .

Just finished watching this last night. Boy, this was a long movie. To me the first hour or so was kinda borning. But as soon as Bane took over the city the action began to heat up. I did enyoy the ending. Left room for another down the road. Maybe somebody can help me out. Near the end when Detective Blake (I think that who it was) was picking up his bags and the lady told him at the desk that she liked the name Robin better. And when he made his way back to the batcave to train, was this a clue to a future "Robin" movie? BTW Anne Hathaway/Catwomen was smoking hot in her leather outfit.

Anyone able to do a screen cap for me of this exact scene

I interpreted it more as an homage to the comic books; Blake was batman's sidekick in the film ala robin. In the scene where Blake picks up Wayne after he gets kicked out of Wayne enterprises, they have a conversation about how the costume is a symbol and that anyone could be batman. So I think that Blake will continue as batman whenever he is needed in Gotham.
