"I'm King Of The...."
Some of you are really picky. You either have to get all of the dialogue but with A.I. weirdness or you get a great picture but with missing lines. Some of you just complain and complain some more. Jeezus. |

Can't remember where, but I read something years ago from either a director or cinematographer who commented that he was amazed at how Cameron was able to get such high-quality theatrical prints from Super 35 material. I guess it just goes to show that he and his team knew what they were doing on the technical side of things. And of course this makes me wonder why he felt the need to use this AI processing on material where the information needed for a proper 4K presentation was already there. I get using it on the first Avatar, as that was an actual upscale, but for the others... seems a bit unnecesary. |

I bought the standard version of the USA release.
The "let's go, Rose"and the "this way" are both missing from the Atmos and 2.0 tracks. The "let's go.", Rose is in the captions the other line is not because the captions are favoring the dialog from the minister giving last rites. The two missing lines ARE in the Spanish and French soundtracks and on the 5.1 English descriptive soundtrack. They got lost when remixing for Atmos in the USA release. Maybe they caught it before it went to the worldwide release. How about the Deluxe set.....does the deluxe set with disc art have the lines? |

That actually reminded me of Beauty and the Beast (1991). We’ll never have a non-3D corrected disc. |

I can also switch to secondary audio and get the 5.1 embed. The line is there on both. |

If that’s the case, I’ll swap the discs when I get the standard edition. Just waiting for a sweet deal, not willing to pay an inflated price for Titanic again (the gift-set is nice but way overpriced at 130 USD). Last edited by Bernardo A.; 02-01-2024 at 07:50 PM. |

On the audio issues, Bill Hunt has mentioned it to Paramount. He's waiting on their response.
![]() They should fix the Swedish subtitles in the Southampton scenes while they're at it. The player generated captions just aren't the same. . Last edited by Count Orlok; 02-01-2024 at 10:23 PM. |

The shot at the end of "Something There" (when Mrs. Potts says "I'll tell you when you're older.") originally had Belle and the Beast by the fireplace in the background.
For the so-called Special Edition, that shot and the one right before it were flipped around, so the characters were on opposite sides of the frame, and the background of the wide shot was now the hallway, with Lumiere closing the door. On both Blu-rays, whether you play the theatrical film or the "Special Edition", it plays the Theatrical of the first shot, and the Special Edition version of the second. Somehow, the Special Edition shot got baked into whatever master Disney uses for distribution of the Theatrical Version, as it's like that on TV broadcasts and digital versions. On the UHD, which has only the theatrical version, the mistake has been kept. The 3D version has the correct shot. So, all non-3D Blu-ray versions have been affected. Small thing, but pretty easy to notice and fix. Maybe if the Special Edition hadn't been made back in 2002 in the first place, the error would not have occurred at all. |

Are you all talking about the same lines I am? When the bust through the gate, Leo is supposed to say "Ok, Let's Go!" And then the shot changes and he says, "Let's Go, Rose" and the other guy punches the guard. These are the missing lines.
Is the U.K. version corrected? How about the streaming? |
