I don't have details on it yet, other than it being a 50th anniversary release. I fear it'll just be a re-release of the 45th Anniversary Steelbook, but hoping for something different.

It’s hard to say, but I’m kinda interpreting from the product info provided that only the original JP and JW have been given DV and Atmos upgraded discs. The back cover artwork implies differently though. We need more info!

Actually, I think they're correct. It looks like they just single out Jurassic Park on the back as getting DV, and if you look at UPHE, it's the only one that mentions it too. All three will have Atmos though.

Do we know if they're carrying over the bonus material from the Blus? The steels look to lack Blu-rays so the 4K discs would have to be reauthored to carry over the legacy features, hopefully they're all being upgraded because 3 especially needs a remaster. Can't imagine they'd bother to move over the bonus material and add Atmos just to skip DV, but who really knows.

Could be a mis-format. Like that is supposed to be on all three but they only put it at the top, which gets pushed onto the first title of each trilogy.

I would hope all three have it, but the fact that they also single out JP description rather than just saying All 3 films makes me lean towards it being just the original getting it.

I think Fallen Kingdom should have it too since the description for that trilogy set says all 3 films will have DV. Could be just an omission at UPHE for it. Still, the details are all over the place here, with the banner at the top implying they all got DV/Atmos, while the specs/description saying otherwise. As you said, a press release would be great.

And it looks like they've still re-done the discs for the other 2 park movies to add the bonus features and atmos anyways. You'd think that even if they didn't remaster them, they'd throw DV on the old masters. Now I'm just hoping JP1 is a good improvement instead of just throwing DV on top...

The way the original Jurassic Park is singled out as being "newly reformatted" does offer a glimmer of hope that they've finally tried to get it done properly. I hate that it having "more lifelike color" is somehow a selling point, although it seems to be meaningless HDR marketing talk as I've had a number of UHDs with the same verbiage on the packaging which don't look lifelike at all.

I wouldn't describe the prints of Jurassic Park that I've seen as "lifelike" and it's this sort of nonsense which conditions people to believe that if an art form doesn't look like real life then it must be "wrong" or "revisionist". If they have regraded the film to better match how it looked photochemically, then expect complaints about how it looks Ritrovata'd or is teal and orange because so many people seemingly don't know the difference between something simply not looking like real life and a Ritrovata grade with actual technical shortcomings.
