my guess...The only reason would be if the Tyrells had been led to believe Sansa would blamed and then be caught with more of the poison on her. It is possible LF led them down the garden path even tho he was always intending for Sansa to escape. I could see the Tyrells be just as interested in assuring the Stark/Lannister union didnt produce an heir which worked out anyway.

Well its a little different in the books because their only interest in Sansa was to marry Willis...in the show they decided to pal up to her more. If I remember right, after her secret wedding to Tyrion, the Tyrells have nothing to do with her.

If you are ever looking to kill some time, read the page on Robert's Rebellion and branch out from there. It's really a fascinating story.
Which almost makes me think they could do a half season or so of "flashbacks" or a prequel season or something. How epic would that be? |

I'm not a book purist by any means, but that was a pretty big difference in the Jaime/Cersei sept scene...
![]() Seems counterproductive to his redemption arc, no? Edit: On further reflection, maybe I'm recalling Jaime's book arc with rose tinted glasses. Though the sept scene doesn't quite unfold like this in the book, Jaime himself is not exactly Mr. Good Guy. It's just that we start to see him from his own perspective. The show, by contrast, has portrayed him as more honorable (particularly in S3). The scene tonight effectively demonstrates that this is still the guy who pushed Bran out the window. Regardless, really creepy and disturbing stuff. Last edited by Aragorn the Elfstone; 04-21-2014 at 05:12 AM. |

![]() And they are really dragging out Daenery's story here. (I get why, but still) If you're only going to show her for a few minutes, why bother. Seemed silly on how much screen time she got considering the title of the episode seemed to be related to her. Last edited by Edword; 04-21-2014 at 09:57 AM. |
