I was disappointed it was cancelled, especially given how the last episode ended, but it wasn't as big of a loss to me as the others I listed were.

I'm sure this list my get laughed at, but who cares:

The O.C. (I thought season 4 was the best season after Season 1)
Chuck
The Following (Even though I thought it struggled after killing Joe Carroll off)
Eye Candy (Like MTV couldn't afford to keep it going)
Veronica Mars
The Lying Game

There are way too many to list, and in fact I don't really get into television shows anymore for this very reason. Everything I loved or tried to get into ends up getting cancelled. My two favorite live action shows of all time, Medium and In Plain Sight, were both cancelled. Fortunately they both got the news ahead of time so we were able to get proper final seasons and series finales.

But does anyone remember Raines with Jeff Goldblum, it aired on NBC in 2007? I was really into that show but it got prematurely cancelled without any type of closure whatsoever. I decided that day I'd never get into another network television show again.

I really liked TERRIERS with Donal Logue. The 1st (and only) season is on Netflix now.

Also liked MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, at least it had a second season.

Andre Braugher went to THE LAST RESORT after that, was that any good? (He is so great in BROOKLYN 99.)

Many people say Firefly, but I've never seen it!

I'll probably miss one but I would say:

Quantum Leap (really miss that one and still hope for...something)
Wire in the Blood (ended on a cliffhanger)
Hannibal (though probably ended on the right note)
Star Trek (love the original show, which got cancelled. Miss having Trek on TV)
Angel (another cliffhanger)

The Player on NBC

Thought it was a really fun show with lots of action. Too bad it got launched on an awful night against football and with a bad lead-in.

I'm willing to bet if it got launched with The Voice as a lead-in, it would still be on today.

The final episode unfortunately ended incomplete.

That made me sad. The show was kinda meh at the beginning, but it really started getting good at the end of the second season, and I think the third season would have been amazing.

This one needed a third season. It probably would've done pretty well in today's market. If The Strain can survive almost anything can.

Yep, I agree with that. Due in no small part to a particular character exiting the show at the end of year three. Really enjoyed Taylor's rise to prominence in season four as well.

Loved Terriers too, that one was a shame

Showed a lot of promise but it was fairly obvious early on that it was going to be canned. They accelerated things towards an ending, so it didn't end on a cliffhanger, but, things were far too rushed.

I'd add New Amsterdam to the list as well. Thought that one was extremely unfortunate to get canned so early.
